Repeating Happiness

"Fine, you're the most feminine woman to ever exist on the face of the earth," Tony said.

Marcella rolled her eyes. "I can see you're saying this from your heart!"

"I am!" Tony placed his hand on his heart. "If I can, I will tear my heart open for you to see the truth I keep inside."

"Oh, stop it!" Marcella slapped his thigh.

She couldn't even bother to be angry at him anymore and ended up laughing. Tony laughed with her.

"Even the air here smells nice," he held her closer.

"It's the olives," Marcella said.

With the gentle breeze caressing her hair, she closed her eyes. Tony kissed her head and made sure she was comfortable. He had never seen her falling asleep in a minute but she'd been doing that a lot lately. If he was not keeping her engaged, she would fall asleep.

It was good, he thought. She must be stress-free and could fall asleep so easily.

'Do not let your wife turn her into your mother,' Dante DeAngelo said.
