Chapter 14: This Quest Is Concerning

My brother gave me an out that will make me look strong. Wait, it won't show up when we do a checkup. Maybe a lie will work? I can just say it doesn't show up on my status screen.

The problem with that is skills will always show up listed below. There is never a case recorded that a skill doesn't show up to others. The only case I personally know of is that my Lust system isn't shown. It must hide itself because it is a cursed skill. Cursed skills are recorded things.

They show up though when people show their stats. Which makes my curse system all the more mysterious. I have been thinking for a minute in silence. I need to come up with something.

"Yes, in a way. It is a skill I have been using since I was born. It just doesn't show up to others. It is hard to explain which is why I kept it hidden from others." I explained to Ferin.

This made him have a perplexed face. Yeah, that lie was not gonna pass. I wish it did, but I have some explaining to do. Ferin took a moment to form a question.

"So, how does that work? And why did you never reveal that? You could have proven use- I mean strong." Ferin said almost revealing his true thoughts. Don't worry Ferin. I know how you act anyways. You just look around you and see who is useful.

"It only works when I buy the item used or opened once. I am only allowed to put it in once and take it out once. Worst of all I only have three slots." Was that the best lie I could come up with?

Ferin chuckled a little bit and told me I had a useless skill. I was told after his fit of laughter that dinner was ready. I was told to go down and eat with the family because we will be showing all our statuses. Since the family is here together again for once.

Before I go eat dinner I am interested in my first quest. The quest system was absorbed by the lust system. So, I guess I have to have a quest or two.

I opened the curse system of lust and on the first screen, it said.

First Quest:

Time Limit: 10 Days

Penalty for no completion: - 7 Wisdom, Once per seven days your thing will fail on you.

Reward: + 1000 on all stats except wisdom, New S-Ranked Skill.

Congrats on getting a quest. Your first quest will involve you having intimacy with the listed girls below. You must satisfy all the girls listed below.

You, you got to be kidding me!!!!! A penalty of minus 7 wisdom? I only have 8 wisdom dude. If I don't have sex I will become even stupider.

That is not a word. 8 Wisdom does show how smart you are.

Screw off quest system! You don't know the pain I will be in. Fu Xien and Kul I can pay for but Rita and Luna? I can't lose the wisdom I obtained. I have to pull a ruby. I have to get desperate. I need to get on my hands and knees.

Why me? Do I really need to do this? Of course, I have to Sephker. We are talking about becoming dumb like a baby. I can't let that happen! Even a baby has at least two wisdom! I can't be more dumb than a baby!
