"What has been bothering me is the card I have." I said to hector. I held the card around the edges so Hector could read the card. Barbara was interested and also looked at the card.
Hector's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I guess this card is confusing even for him. Barbara on the other hand was overjoyed. See loves seeing corrupted cards. So I expected her reaction.
"Oh may! Yes, yes, yes! Activate the card. Corrupted cards will always benefit the user." Barbara said, dancing around the campfire. Hector let out a big sigh and spoke after Barbara stopped abruptly.
"Of course a demon likes corrupted cards. Don't you know corrupted cards have a cost? You shouldn't use them without thinking of the consequences." Hector said angrily at Barbara.
The brave dragon shook his head at Hector's response. At least I am not the only one who thinks that way. For starters a corrupted card is permanently added to my deck. It doesn't hurt the 100 card pile. For what I see it is a +1.
So now I have a 101 card deck. I thought it would have replaced a card, but I was wrong. Since it adds itself to any deck that also means I could draw on a dead card. For example the card
The card explodes all my enemies. What if I have no enemies at the moment. It would most likely go into the mana pool. Since there would be no reason to activate that card. Losing status points is a big deal.
"I was doing research while I was not summoned. It talked about his Card Caster skill. Would you like to hear about it Sephker?" Barbara said with a devilish smile. What a great way of not revealing your hidden intentions. I will just play along with it for now.
"Sure, Barbara!" I said with a wry smile.
"The Card Caster skill is a strong skill that must never be underestimated. It is a skill that allows users to summon beasts, humans, and demonic beings from worlds that are far from your planet." Barbara said, taking a moment to think and catch her breath.
"The skill is a rare skill that grows alongside the user. Even though it is a SSS-ranked skill, it grows with the users. It will even help power up their uses. Your powerup method is the best and worst depending on how you look at it." She said now sitting down on a log.
"Corruption is as the word states. It corrupts you. If you ask me, you are too damn stupid and weak in this world. Cards that are corrupted will be the best for your survival." Barbara said, looking at my eyes.
Wow that was mean. I wish she phrased it a bit better than that. There was no playing around the bush. She told me exactly her thoughts. I thought she wanted me to get corrupted for her amusement.
"Hey, Sephker. I think you should use it. After considering her opinion. Just use it this time and see what it delivers." Hector said with a smile. I guess I should just see what happens. I just hope the card doesn't become useless in most situations.
I spoke the card's name out loud. I said The Epitaph of Twilight aloud. The same scene played out as before. A Graveyard tomb was shown and then it manifested into a card. The card came into my hand after it floated down to my hand.
A message appeared on top of the card which startled me. It congratulated me on unlocking a new world to use. The world I obtained is called Ocean World. A world filled with fish and deep sea creatures. It disappeared and I read my new card outloud for everyone to hear.

"Wow. That is actually useful. That might be too good if you ask me. You have another way of getting more skills. Haha!" Hector said and laughed after finishing his sentences.
