Chapter 38: Trying It Out (2)

It took a second, but out came a giant fireball in a flash. I blinked in my bewilderment. It almost felt like the weapon kicked my shoulder when I used it. There was also a loud bang that rang in my ear! It was like a bell just rang right next to my ear. The ringing sound would not let up. The weapon directed me to focus on the goblins.

The goblin that I killed won't get back up. That being said, the others recovered from the surprise and started to come towards me. I readied the weapon again and fired until the goblins were on the ground. I used all 10 rounds in the internal magazine.

The bolt on the weapon is all the way back. It's saying it wants more ammo to be fed into it. From what he told me, he was designed to do that. I feel unaccomplished, I have killed three enemies, but it took 10 rounds to do so.

"Don't beat yourself up for it. I, the Type 56, was made to be used by poor farming peasants. Poor peasants were bad shots. It took a while for one to aim a weapon properly." My weapon said, trying to comfort me.

I check the quest to see my results. Yep, 3 out of 1,00.

I have 90 bullets left. I have to use more than just this weapon. It is time to call upon some monsters. I looked at my hand cards to see a few valuable cards. With 5 mana, there is a lot I can do with this hand. First up first, this girl. I called out the card's name, "Layla, The Girl of Flowing Winds!" She then manifested after the card disappeared from my hand.

She was a beautiful girl clad in white and gold armor. Her outfit shows a lot of definition. The girls are also laced with a lot of black see-through fabric. She is tall and has blue hair. Her eyes are also blue, but they are hard to see since her eyes are small.

"I can't believe my new card caster person is a damn male! Why can't a beautiful woman use me?" Layla said, looking at me with disgust.

Yeah, her attitude ruins her whole image. She looked hot and lovely with all the black lace covering her body. The attitude threw all of that out of the window. She is indeed now uglier than a full-grown demonic boar. I honestly wish I never summoned her. She will be helpful to me in blocking an enemy's attack.

"Um, I don't know why, but you are here now. I am not a female, but someone once said I looked like a girl." I said, trying to calm down this bitch of a girl. I will now refer to this girl as a bitch. If her heart is that dark, then the name fits her.

She took a moment to analyze me. "Okay! You do look a little like a girl. I am happy that you are using me. I won't get over the fact that you have three things in between your legs." Layla said. Ugly and vulgar, now, are you? What a combo to see. Not the kind of girl I could ever fall in love with. Rita and Luna are infinitely better than her.

I am going to think twice the next time I even think about summoning her. Her flavor text is correct. Girls can be knights, too. Aren't knights supposed to have courage? I never knew they were able to nag about their problems.
