I find it odd how I am not nervous when firing the small metal arrows. I was never nervous after the initial firing. Even the loud noises never bothered me. My actions regarding the new experience are weird. People shouldn't be used to such loud noises.
"That's because when people use me, they use the experience of previous fighters. It is a passive skill that isn't classified as a skill. I have had maybe fifty other users before you. I am not entirely sure because I have lost count of how many worlds I have devoured." My weapon said in my mind.
I forgot how powerful the weapon that I am using is. I haven't handled any powerful weapons that are this strong before. This weapon is a dimension destroyer—a devourer of worlds. A weapon so strong it could destroy this world. It just chooses not to. I need to remember the strength of my weapons before I use them.
My monsters and I went into the woods temporarily to see if there were any monsters nearby. There were no monsters in sight, so we left and went back to our post. I finished my outhouse hole and manifested a cube that had an opening and a curtain. My outhouse is done and ready to be used.
I went back to camp and saw that Jael and Rust were back. Before I interact with them, I should mess with my card caster skill and benefit from it. I drew a card, charged 1 into the mana, and drew another card.
Mana 1/10 -> Mana 2/10
I drew Far Beyond Greed, a spell card that allows me to draw even more cards. I have 4 cards in hand, including this one. If I cast it, I would have 7 cards. For now, I won't use it only because using it would not be beneficial. I spoke up to Jael, who was resting on the ground. Should I buy a chair or two? I would hate for the monsters to get dirty.
No, I shouldn't worry about that. I won't even use a chair, so there's no point in wasting precious points. I mean, the points are easy to get, but I shouldn't be wasteful.
"Oh, master is back! Did you have fun digging a hole?" Jael said with a smile.
"That simpleton finds digging holes fun, most likely," Layla said with a mean snark remark.
"Let the card caster do what needs to be done. Just 'cause we don't have to shit doesn't mean Sephker is the same as us." Kanazawa said, defending me. What a bro thing to do! He is protecting me against an evil woman. Rust didn't say anything as usual.
"Wait, does that mean you don't need food?" I asked out loud, waiting for a response from anyone.
"Nope! We never feel tired or anything that most humans would need to sustain themselves." Jael said with her usual smile.
So I don't have to provide them with food. Didn't the monsters in Dragon World eat? Was it ceremonial or something like that? I could also summon Barbara if we needed someone for night watch, but it isn't needed. I do need to summon her whenever I can. Just not now since the card caster skill is providing monsters.
What am I waiting for? More cards won't hurt. I grabbed the card and said the name of the card, Far Beyond Greed, and after, the card disappeared from my hand. Four brand-new cards from my deck entered my hand. Woah, even more new cards I had never seen before.
"Did you get any cute girls?" Layla asked. I did, but I won't tell her. I will ignore her comment and read the cards that I recently got from my deck. Here is another low-cost card. I can summon it for free. It is another weak card compared to some other ones I used or have seen in the past.
Granted, when a card is free, it will be weaker than the ones that don't have a cost. I remember corruption cards tend to be quite burdensome for their summoning cost. That and their skill costs can be a burden as well. I grabbed a card from my hand and called out its name. Shiori, The Cute Animal Person, and the card manifested once the card in my hand disappeared.
What appeared before me was a cute animal person that was the species of a dog. She remained quiet after her summon. She is quite a cutie, dressing modestly. Her blue Decomia-style clothes enhance her white hair.
