Chapter 48: 2 Week Time Skip

I forgot to review what I have done for quite some time. I have been grinding out my quest and forgot to go back for a while. I am sure some of my family is worried. I know for a fact that Luna is not getting proper sleep. She was losing sleep trying to find out what had happened to Fu Xien. I wanted to get this quest done. I will do my best to do it, but I need to relay some information to my father. 

This is not some Demonic Beast War we can easily handle. However, there is no giant monster behind the goblins. This war is a multi-beast war. Goblins, Wolves, Boars, Skeletons, and slimes of all things are working together. All are low-ranked monsters, but if enough of them attack in droves, the arrogant adventurers don't realize the situation. It can destroy much more than people can even fathom.

It can cause so much damage a continent can be put into ruin. My father is a person of influence. He can persuade people's families in more roundabout ways. Those bastards who dare mock me for slaying lower-ranked monsters wouldn't want to defy their families if their families asked for them to protect them. Most would obey their parent's request.

Today, I shall finish the quest and return home. I could have done it yesterday, but I had to confirm something. I am supposed to kill Goblin Breeders. At first, I thought it was a goblin concubine of some sort. People of influence have girls of all types, such as wives, concubines, a weekend witness, and so on.

What a horrible thing I found out, the breeders. Breeders are girls that have been captured. My quest, the curse system of lust provided me, wants me to kill people. I thought I was supposed to love an action that was usually consented between two people. Now, the curse skill wants me to kill people. 

I confirmed the identity with goblin breeders with my Dimension Destroyer weapon. He said that monsters don't have concubines. The goblin queens are indeed queens. They are not some whore as he says. Breeders are the closest thing to concubines. Still, they are not concubines since they are just used to make babies. 

I saw one yesterday when we raided a fort. It was a goblin-made fort, but still a fort. My monsters and I killed everything in the fort except for the breeders. Jael entered the breeders' room and vomited. It was too much for her. To be fair, the stench in that room was pretty putrid. Layla had to drag Jael out and comfort her. 

The old man, Higuri, was there with me and mentioned that he was there if I needed him to do the dirty work. I thanked him for the offer, but I told everyone to retreat for now. Today, I have to reveal the information to them. We will go back to raid the fort and kill what needs to be killed. They are currently living in a horrible state. If they were killed yesterday, it would be easier on them. 

Some people say it is better to live in dire conditions than not being alive at all. I agree to some degree to it all. The point where I would disagree is becoming someone's or something's property. Being used to making babies seems too dire to me. I will go back and kill them to relieve some stress upon their souls. 

Since we left the fort without destroying it, we can assume it is more heavily armored. I can expect more knights and even expect more goblin magicians. With the skills I obtained over the two weeks, I will have an easier time taking on the fort. Even if the fort did get more resources, we would be all right. 

One of the skills I got can lower the opponent's status. Another one allows me to summon an undead. There is a skill that boosts all my monsters, familiars, and summons stats. Everything I have so far has boosted my capabilities.
