Chapter 53: Explosive Entry (2)

Damn, I was cut slightly on the knee by a goblin while lost in thought. Was that punk going after my jewels? I kicked it down and stabbed through its body with my common sword. I killed it instantly after inserting the blade. The goblin went limb. I am glad I can kill some easier monsters with the ability to absorb some of their stats. I should really buy the stat absorber skill. 

I never thought it would be useful. Now that I think about it, being able to absorb stats when I don't have the card caster skill would be helpful. I didn't know it would be worth buying because when would I not have the most OP skill always activated. I thought about it, and the only answer was if my skill got locked somehow. 

I saw that the old man Higuri was able to weaken a hobgoblin. I quickly went to him and slashed him with my common sword. I killed him and reminded myself that there were only 11 more hobgoblin to go. 

Five minutes have passed, and it has been nonstop killing. I killed 2 more hobgoblins and at least 12 normal goblins. That was just goblins; I also killed 10 wolves and 4 skeletons. I need rest, but it seems like my monsters don't need a break. They do not get hungry, nor do they require sleep. I think the dragon needed sleep, or was he lying about needing it? 

We made it to the first target location. A goblin queen is inside this room. I should take a break and kill demonic beasts from afar. I have a weapon just for that can be taken out right away. However, it is better in open areas. We are about to enter a room, and the powerful weapon is not good in close-range combat. When I kicked down the shabby door with just a kick, I could see a horrible sight. 

The sight is A goblin queen with a goblin breeder and a bunch of children. I wouldn't say I like the idea of killing a small creature that cannot defend itself. When it grows up, it will hunt and eat fellow humans and animal people. So, even if it goes against my values, I must do what needs to be done. I don't have to kill small creatures by myself. I have a few monsters with me. 

The monsters beside me are Layla, Kazuto, and Kanazawa. Scratch Kanazawa. He says he refuses to get children's blood on his fist. I want to get this done. I will talk to Kanazawa about the differences between lives. Layla helped me kill the children's goblins while I killed the queen. 2 more queens to go. 

"I don't think you can kill a breeder easily since it is a poor woman who evil demonic beasts raped. Yet, it would help if you didn't fail the quest you talked about. I figure you can stab me into their heart and shoot them using a bullet. This action should kill them easily. It will help your heart since I, with a bullet, will deal the final blow. 

I have qualms about this. I think by thinking about it as a way of saving them. I might be able to bear with the emotions for the time being. I manifested the Type 56 from my Arsenal and extended his bayonet. I had to put the common sword and cultivation sword down. Thankfully, when placing the cultivation sword down, it transformed into a card and went to my right side. It's neat and handy to know I don't have to carry items around everywhere. 

"The hell are you going to use that weapon on?" Layla said after cleaning off her blade with a piece of cloth.

"Trying to make it painless. Believe it or not, my weapon here says when the head is cut off, they are still concussions. If you kill the heart, they cease to suffer. " I said to Layla. 

"You shouldn't kill a lady after what she has been through," Avelia said in discomfort. 

"You, Avelia, and you girl whose name I do not know. Must forgive me for my next actions toward people like you. I will make it quick so your suffering ends, girl." 

The girl whose clothes were ripped spoke up. Her voice was weak and soft, so I had to listen quite closely. "I will forgive you if you release the rebellious monsters on this fort." After she said that, my eyes got big. It was noticed by Kazuto, who got a worried look on his face. 

"You know about it?" I asked the girl on the ground. The shock of hearing a card I just got that is currently in my hand was just said. 

"You can feel it too, can you not? The dark aura that is in front of you is not from this world. The card is a card that will soon bring this world to its need. Some might call you a Rebellious King of sorts. I suggest getting a religion and sticking to it." The woman with ripped clothes said. 

"That is a heavy thing to say as your last words," I said in a fast response. 

"Duty is heavy, and death is light." An old saying was said by the girl who lies there with a slight smile. I see; I think I remember her now. She was a girl who I saw at a brothel. She was cute, but I never thought about having intercourse with her. She is also, sadly, a minor employed by Tien. To think a minor had to get devoured and destroyed by the demonic beasts. 

I grabbed my rifle, stabbed the bayonet near the girl's heart, and fired my weapon. There was a loud bang that echoed in the room. The monster named Layla puked at the sight of organs being on my face. She was comforted by Avelia, who was also distraught. 

"Kanazawa, if someone had a final wish, was it common in your country to fulfill it?" I asked loud enough that Kanazawa could hear me, even with the sounds of lunch coming up from Layla. 

"If it was in the power of the person being asked, then sure. Are you about to fulfill a last wish?" Kanazawa said to me. 

"Sadly, yes. I just hope it goes well. That girl said some heavy things to me before her swift death." I said to Kanazawa.

"We are here to serve our master who summoned us," Kanazawa said with a brave smile. 

I guess now is the time for a new world. I was going to save this for the final act. It is now or never because of a selfish request. It makes sense a girl who was ravaged would want a ravaged world. It is time for the world of rebellious creatures to roam free once again.
