Chapter 63: New Status Update (2)

Sword Combat Basics D -  You always know the ins and outs of swords of all types. You will always be better than the average soldier. You have a stable foundation. The More you use this skill and study swords. The Stronger the skill becomes.

Combat-based skills are nice, even if they are low-ranked. It is nice to see that I got an upgrade to one of the most commonly used weapons. Though if I think about it only people of influence use swords a lot. Most foot soldiers use a spear. It's a much cheaper weapon to make. 

The next skill is another combat based skill. Thankfully it is a skill that I used to use all the time. I remember relying on this at one point. 

Spear Master  C  - You will always remember the ins and outs of spears. You will always be better than most who try their whole life to learn the basics. The more you use this skill the stronger it becomes. 

Good, I will always be better than most people. It is nice to rely on good skills. I could use a spear and surprise an opponent. The more weapons one can use efficiently, the more tactics one can use.

Goblin Murder Curse F - (Was Upgraded)

Goblins of weak fortitude fear you because of a mental attack you constantly radiate. This skill can also affect babies, but rarely.

Goblins of small fortitude fear you because of a mental attack you constantly radiate. This skill can also affect babies but is uncommon at this stage.

It's not really a combat skill, but it is usually in combat. It could be a problem to radiate something. What if I want to sneak around the goblins for whatever reason? It's still good to see that even newly obtained skills that I never saw the description of getting updated. 

Ore Mining D -

You are better at mining than a new full-time worker. It is recommended to use this with someone who is a natural digger. The more you use this skill, the stronger it will get.

Oh, a better mining skill. I haven't had time to pound rocks. It's still nice to see an updated skill. Even though I doubt, I will use that skill. Maybe, I should do something inviting mining. Sometimes, I just want to dig a hole. A diggy, diggy hole.

No, I still need to use the cheat code called stat stealing. I have a skill that allows me to absorb creatures I kill. Rebellious World also has a card that will enable me to gain stat points really fast. I have used it before and it did hurt me. Relying on things that hurt makes me feel uncomfortable. It is hard to get over pain, even though the ones who succeed do.

Enough thinking! I need to act fast. There are things to do today. The first thing is to find out information. There are a lot of monsters. Someone has to have scouted for camps, forts, and the like. I also need to use my card caster skill. I know I shouldn't rely on it. That doesn't mean I can't use Rebellious World from time to time.

Okay, there are a couple of things I can use right now. Nabullon Aldinachon is a monster with 500,000 attacks and cannot be blocked by non-Rebellious World creatures and monsters. Having him around would be nice. Wait, a beast like that in the city will cause problems. I do have one card that wouldn't be a problem. 

 Mariette, The Blue Hair Manipulator. This card is a human, at least based on the card art. Summoning her won't cause a problem. I also want to use her skills. I have only 2 mana out of 10 to use. Her unique skill requires 3 mana. Once Used, I gain 5 Random skills. I can only use it once, per Mariette, which is fine. To Use this card's ability I need to make room.

I held the card named  Mariette, The Blue Hair Manipulator, and called her name out. She manifested in front of me. Her beauty was encaptivating. I am not a fan of big blossoms, but hers was attractive. It must be because of the witch's outfit. Her nice areas men like to ogle at are covered up with a thick layered cloth that has a golden flame image. 

Her other parts, like the top part of the blossom, the neck, and the legs, are covered with see-through materials. It is not pure see-through. There is a black tint. It is a beautiful black cloth on her pale white skin. Her hair is also charming. It is a deep blue and is smooth.

"What a cute caster. Let's spend all day cuddling. We need to make some humans our servants. There are a few in this city that would be perfect to make a servant." Mariette said with a soft tone. 

What an evil girl. She wants to make people servants right away. I'm not too fond of that; I want to get things done. I must remain vigilant because her beauty would cost most to fold to her ways. A human in a world full of monsters that destroy the foundation of common sense. Why did I think a human from the Rebellious World would be normal? 

"No, we got work to do. You can fight with me and kill demonic beasts. We can make those things servants. I also need to use your ability to obtain more skills. So be ready for battle. Of course, I will join a beautiful girl in battle." I said, letting a compliment slip out at the end. 

"What a charmer," Mariette said with a slight smile. I also called out the name of an item, and I equipped it. The Blade of Cultivators appeared in my right hand. It is time to venture out of the house and go to the front line.
