The elven witch walks to the kitchen as she prepares Shin's food bowl and adds some extra ingredients she doesn't usually add. She walked across the hall to where Shin was laying calmly, though his body was surely working very hard.
She placed his bowl so he'd eat when he awakens again and then she noticed his red mark had started glowing again. Ylwan grabs a cold wet cloth with a spell on it on Shin's head so his body would cool down and then she left to let him rest and continue her studies.
After a couple of hours Shin wakes up with a severe headache and his body feeling extra weird, he shrugs it off like always and decides to eat as it would maybe make him feel better.
Before he got up he realized that his cushion looked unbelievably small, everything in the room looked smaller to him, It also seemed as if he was wavering over all the furniture that were way overtop of him, due to his small height.
Shin then sees his food bowl. What a small portion, this won't fill me up! And why is the bowl so small..? He thought to himself. He bent over so he could eat it which felt terribly wrong to him suddenly, then he hit banged his head on a table causing the pepper than was on top of it to fall and enter his nose as he let out the greatest sneeze he'd ever sneezed, and then a few more sneezes afterwards.
Shin then decided not to eat his food and lay back down, his cushion seemed like someone replaced it with a much smaller one. He tried to fit but he couldn't so he just laid on the floor.
Ylwan sighed deeply as she picked up her feather shaped pen and laid her forehead on her palm. Something didn't seem right, but at the same time everything seemed fine.
``I must find what is wrong.. I'm not feeling this, or is everything right? Whatever, I've to do my duty``
Ylwan looked in her cookbook. She flipped some pages and put together a recipe, then went to her ingredients cabinet and took some Crow feathers, the saliva of a toad, lots of cow milk, a tiny piece of cheese, strawberries, a tiny piece of Shin's fur, biscuits and a little bit of water.
With some stirring, time, foreign words and a wave of hands she'd prepared a magical milkshake. "This should help majorly to awaken his abilities, if they haven't awoken by now.
She exited the room and headed towards where Shin was. She walked across the same hall she would always go through. As she arrived she gasped and dropped the milkshake. She froze in place, who was that?
``Oh my the great Ayven it is him! I wasn't expecting it to happen this early, what are you doing on the floor?`` She exclaimed very loudly. Shin got up from her deafening nonsense. "What are you blabbering now!" He asked angrily.
She used some magic to turn the spilled magical milkshake into a brand new one and picked it up again, she went up to Shin and he was wavering over her.
``Why are you so small now?`` He asked her as she handed him the milkshake. "I am not small, YOU are just tall, have you not noticed what has happened yet?" She asked him with a confused expression. ``What do you mean?`` Shin asked back in curiosity.
She started laughing hysterically at his stupidity. "Don't freak out, I've forgotten to tell you that royal wolves like you can all turn.... Elven if you get me what I mean. You, Shin I've awakened your ability to turn Elven so.. Right now, you're an Elf." She said in the best way she could put it. ``WHAAAAAAAAT!!!!??`` Shin yelled in the loudest possible way and in the most exaggerated expression he could make.
``Stop lying to me, is that why everything has been so small to me? This is sweet, I hate being that measly little.. Creature, oh how I love this, does that mean that I'm my actual age now?`` As he said all that he then noticed his arms, hands, legs and torso as he wasn't paying attention. ``You're an imbecile, in a good way`` Ylwan told him with a very plain face.
``Also, put some clothes on already! My eyes!`` She said as she summoned some basic clothes on him, Shin was embarrassed at the fact that he hadn't had clothes on and that she had to see that. He kept on looking at himself, he'd missed having fingers and toes and hair on his head. Shin then went to the bathroom to see himself.
He got lost while trying to find it so he asked Ylwan and she showed him where it was. He closed his eyes and hoped he at least looked decent and then he opened them, in front of the mirror.
He was amazed, he was truly handsome and tall and his hair was long, black and silky. He raised his shirt and he even had abs, beautiful shiny blue eyes and of course long elf ears.
``What if i just..`` His curiosity won him over as he looked inside his pants ``Damn`` he said quickly looking up back at the mirror.
He stared at the mirror for about 20 whole minutes before walking out. ``I'm flawless`` He said to himself and went over to shake Ylwan's hands with a smile on his face. She shook his hand back with a confused look on her face.
``Would you mind going out to get you some basic needs like skin care, hair care and clothes because you need some more and i don't have time to get you magical clothes daily. Also maybe some additional things like cologne and accessories, only if you want to though because i know you don't really like socializing.`` She suggested to him and waited for his response patiently.
He thought for a moment before agreeing with her, the scarf she gave him still fit so he put it on but he still needed shoes his size. He got Ylwan to summon him some boots so he can wear and they headed off outside. Once outside Ylwan explained that they would take the longer way since he wasn't a small little pup anymore.
Shin agreed and they walked through a path in a quiet, dark and gloomy the forest where not even a single bird sang or tweeted. It was so quiet you could hear the bushes rustle and occasionally rabbit looking creatures would jump out of those bushes.
The wind was strong making the trees move a lot as the fruit would fall to the ground. Since the wind was so strong, it made a cold chill as it blew by making Shin's cheeks and nose bright red. It was as cold as a wintry day but it seemed as warm as the summery days filled with joy.
They got to the end of the path and then they went over a hill. On their way up Shin took many breaks as the hill was an extremely long way up and down which unfortunately slowed them down.
At the top of the hill there were loads of bird looking creatures attacking them so Ylwan put a spell on them to stop the birds from troubling them any further, though the birds dropped dead. ``Seems like she despised those birds`` Shin thought to himself as they descended the hill.
When they got to the bottom and walked for another minute, he saw that same gigantic tree from the last time they were going out. She spoke the same words, tapped the the tree bark 3 times and placed her forehead on the tree all over again and then the same door appeared as they went through it into the city.
This time, nobody, not even a soul recognized him which relieved him greatly, though he was still a little shy around everybody.
Ylwan led the way to a clothing shop, she looked around the clothes as Shin waited behind her. ``These clothes seem too cheap for their prices! Lower the prices immediately, don't let me see them this high another time unless they're better, understood?`` Ylwan told the shop owner as she left. ``Yes, miss`` The shop owner replied as Shin followed behind Her.
``What? Why did they listen to you like that, I'm confused!`` Shin asked her.
Ylwan shrugged and entered another clothing shop, the prices were unbelievably high and Shin asked her how she'd afford those. The prices seemed too high for him to keep staring at them so he closed his eyes.
``You're a prince aren't you? So you must dress like one and I've got money anyways.`` She replied to him with a smile. Then she picked out a few outfits and bought them for him.
By the end of their outing, Shin's hands were full of heavy bags and Ylwan was holding but one bag, He was struggling to carry the bags but Ylwan threatened him that if he dropped a single bag, he wouldn't see the light of day so he had to manage.
It seemed as if time had slowed down, It seemed as if it took ten times longer to get back to the Cabin or maybe it was because Shin had slowed down. Ylwan was way ahead of him but still in sight as he slowly followed behind all the way back to the cozy Cabin.
At the step of the Cabin, Ylwan finally took some bags from his hands and arms and let him in, though it would have been better if she took the bags before.
``Now, you will try on every outfit I have got for you today including the perfumes, hats, gloves, hair ties, everything.`` She told him with a bright smile.
``What? There are too many, please tell me you're joking! This is going to take hours!!`` Shin argued back, knowing he would end up doing what she said anyway. Ylwan ignored him and handed him the first pair of clothes and all the others following.
By the time he'd finish trying them on it was already dark outside and Ylwan went to prepare their dinner in the kitchen, it was a big meal. She forced him the remaining food from his plate as she said he needed it for extra strength.
After dinner, she created a new room for Shin and decorated it quickly with a large bed, posters and extra decorations, she made a closet big enough to fit all the clothes and shoes she'd got for Shin. She made him go to bed right after as it was already late and when she left, she locked the door to make sure he'd actually sleep.
Shin didn't sleep though, he got right up and started sketching in a sketchbook he secretly got at a shop when She wasn't looking. He sketched for quite a long time before finally going to bed.
He remembered she told him that they'd train the next day.
