Playing games with Mia

It took an hour, and Mia rested her head on Raven's shoulder, staring at the ring on her finger.

Once they arrived at the house, they got out and headed inside.

They took a moment to put their things down, then changed into something more appropriate.

After a long day, they walked over to the couch and sat down, taking a deep breath and relaxing their bodies for a while.

Mia suddenly had an idea.

"Do you want to play a game?" She asked.

"Sure," Raven replied. "What kind?"

"I don't know. Anything!"

"Hmm."

Raven stood up from the couch and headed towards his desk, where he had his computer located and ready to use.

"Here's a good one," he said.

Mia turned her head towards the screen and took a glance at it.

Upon realisation, she found out that the game was not only free but also one of the most popular games of the current time.

"Sure," Mia said.

"Let me head to my room and I'll call you."

Raven nodded and opened the game.

Prior to this, he had already enlisted Vanessa's help in order to maximise his skills in the game.

Achieving the same level of skill as Raven would require several years of dedicated practice and hard work.

After fully loading the game, Mia called him.

"Hello," Mia said.

"Yo." Raven said, "Do you mind if I stream the game as well?"

"Sure, I don't care."

The game they were playing was a battle royal game where you could build to protect yourself and attack others.

Raven was a super gamer and the top gamer in the world because of Vanessa tuning his muscle memory

While Mia was the opposite, extremely bad at the game.

They both played duos, allowing Raven to carry her every game.

Raven stream seemed to be more lively than before, most likely because a girl was in it.

Mia watched on the screen as Raven played. She felt sad that she wasn't able to take part in herself.

Her eyes kept drifting back to the ring on her finger.

Every time she looked at it, a smile would appear on her face.

After a few hours of playing, Raven called it a day.

He logged off the game, ended his stream, and sat beside Mia.

"Did you have fun?"

"Yeah. You're fantastic at that game." She smiled.

Raven chuckled. "I'll show you some other games next time."

"Sounds good."

Raven then got up. "Well, I got some stuff to do with the release with Vision."

Mia's eyes widened.

She completely forgot about Vision.

If it wasn't for Raven's reminder, she would have never remembered.

"Oh, yeah. That's right. I forgot."

Raven then left the living room and made his way to his room.

Mia remained sitting on the bed, still looking at Raven's ring.

Raven sat back down on his chair, looking at the feedback and revenue Vision has made so far.

"Vanessa, can you make a portfolio of all the important information?"

[Sure.]

Suddenly, a file appeared on Raven's desktop.

Raven read through the information.

He knew this information by heart, but he wanted to see how much Vision had actually done.

Raven smiled at the amount of profit Vision has generated so far.

"Seems like Vision was a success." Raven muttered.

Looking at the millions of dollars that have come in on the first couple of days, Raven couldn't help but smile.

Of course, this money will go to the creators and Mia.

He also sets up a customer support channel which needs to be paid for.

Raven stood up and walked over to his bed and plopped right next to Mia.

"Hey." Raven said, kissing her on the cheek.

"What's up?" Mia asked, looking at Raven with a curious expression.

"Just thinking about something."

Mia's lips formed into a small smile as she looked into his eyes.

"Well," she began, "you shouldn't worry so much. Just enjoy life as much as you can."

"Yeah, you're right."

Raven then lay down on the bed and brought Mia with him.

Mia rested her head on Raven's chest and wrapped her arms around him.

"I wonder how Will and his girlfriend are doing." Raven said.

"I'm sure they're fine." Mia replied, staring at the ring on her finger.

Raven put his hands on the back of her head and gently caressed her hair.

"Well," he said, "I think it's time we get some rest. We've had a long day."

Mia nodded in agreement.

"Goodnight, Raven." She whispered, leaning into his warm embrace.

Raven felt a sense of joy as Mia gently rubbed against his chest, but he just replied with a quiet "Goodnight," closing his eyes.

He hugged her tightly as she drifted off to sleep.

Raven watched Mia sleeping in his arms and felt the need to protect her.

He then closed his eyes and eventually drifted off to sleep as well.

They both slept in late in the morning, waking up around 10 am.

"Mm." Raven moaned as he awoke.

He stretched his arms as he sat up on the bed, seeing Mia still asleep next to him.

Raven smiled as he looked at her cute face, brushing a few strands of hair out of her face.

She stirred and opened her eyes, looking up at him.

"Good morning." She said with a sleepy smile.

Raven chuckled. "Good morning."

He leaned down and kissed her.

"Let's get something to eat," Raven suggested, as he sat back up.

"I'm hungry now." Mia replied.

"Me too."

They both went into the kitchen, where their mother prepared breakfast.

Raven took out the plates from the cabinet and handed one to Mia.

"Where do you want to go eat today?" Mia asked.

"I don't know. Wherever you want to go."

Mia thought for a moment.

"There's a place near our school I want to go to," she said.

Raven raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Where's that?"

Mia laughed and blushed.

"I don't want to tell you yet. It's a surprise."

"Are you sure? We're already engaged."

Mia covered her mouth with her hand and looked away.

"Fine. I'll just follow you then."

Mia looked over at Raven.

"Really?"

"Of course, anything for you."

Mia jumped into his arms and gave him a big hug.

"Thanks, Raven. You're the best!"

She kissed him and let go.

"I'm going to change and put on my make-up real quick."

Mia went to the bathroom and changed into more appropriate clothes.

After she finished, she came out with her make-up done.

Raven got up.

"Let's go then." He said, putting his hands on her shoulders.
