Motherhood

Heidi being always quiet, the bruises that peeked through her dresses or her fear shaken body in front of Gilbert. All those signs were there but she never noticed.

Heidi pulled her into her embrace, placing a peck on forehead in a hope of consoling her,"Is His Majesty treating you badly?" Heidi asked. Her voice was filled with concern. She sounded like she genuinely cared about her daughter.

Seeing that Agatha felt more guilty,"No. He treats me well." Agatha answered, wrapping her arms around her mother and hugging tightly.

Heidi sighed in relief,"That's good to hear. Still you should not have come back like this Agatha. Man has needs, you don't want to share him with a mistress, do you?" She quoted in a soft voice.

"Let him have one then. I don't need a husband who likes other women." Agatha huffed, her face pouty thinking Xavier was going after another woman.
