Steve Chapter 166

As soon as he pulled out the Infinity Gauntlet, a system prompt sounded in his mind.

Unlike the previous soul module prompts, this one made him incredulous the moment it appeared.

[System prompt: Item 'Infinity Gauntlet' researched, you gain 9% new module download permission.]

Fang Mo was dumbfounded, From as early as the first time he went to Asgard, He had touched this Infinity Gauntlet.

Strangely, it didn't help him unlock any modules at that time. Due to that, Fang Mo doubted whether it was a low-quality counterfeit, as Hela had said.

But now it had triggered a prompt to unlock permissions...

Frankly, Fang Mo was a bit puzzled.

Perhaps there is a sequence to unlocking these modules?

For a module that requires studying the Infinity Gauntlet to unlock... Fang Mo has already realized which module this is.

It's obviously the Infinity Gauntlet module.

If he remembered correctly, this module could instantly kill monsters, and control the Wills of living entities, teleport freely and even switch on or off creative mode.

The Creative Mode! {E.N: The is pronounced as THEEE over here}

With it, who would need a crafting list?

Thinking of it made Fang Mo visibly jubilant, If he could truly activate Creative mode, then he would be invincible, a true ultimate, fully-equipped dimensional demon god who could crush all worlds.

While Fang Mo was fantasizing about his path to World Domination, a huge palm waved in front of his eyes.

"What's wrong?" Eitri asked with raised eyebrows.

"Oh, nothing," Fang Mo snapped out of his reverie, shook his head, and said, "Just thinking of something exciting. Here, you take the Infinity Gauntlet for now."

"This was something I made years ago," Eitri said, taking the gauntlet, his tone laced with nostalgia, "The color was already too flamboyant, and they even embedded fake gems. It's just ugly..."

He chuckled, prying off the gems as he spoke.

"How long will it take you to modify it?" Fang Mo asked.

"Don't worry, it will be quick," Eitri ensured, almost instantly removing six gems before starting to look for materials and tools. "After all, it's just modification, not re-forging."

Eitri did not lie. His craftsmanship was exquisite. He disassembled the gauntlet into countless parts, threw them into a crucible, and added a handful of strange metal particles.

Soon, the crucible was boiling. Eitri poured out the waste liquid and picked out a pile of silver parts, which seemed smaller than before—some surface metal had melted off. Then he started polishing, engraving, gilding, re-melting, and tempering the parts.

Before long, a pale gold glove was presented to Fang Mo.

"Try it," Eitri said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Alright," Fang Mo was not shy, putting on the glove immediately. He then took out the Space Stone and slightly loosened his fingers, just like Thanos in the movies.

With a 'ding', the glove automatically attracted the Space Stone into a socket.

Endless cosmic energy flooded out, and Fang Mo felt powerful spatial energy filling his body. A shockwave emanated from him, blowing all the giant tools around him away.

"How is it?" Eitri asked.

"It feels great," Fang Mo smiled, moving his right hand a bit. "Can this thing neutralize the side effects of the Infinity Stones?"

"What do you mean?" Eitri asked.

"The influence of the Mind Stone," Fang Mo explained. "It can affect the subjective thoughts of the holder."

"In theory, it should be able to block the influence," Eitri affirmed. "The glove is designed to use Infinity Stone to control the others. If the Mind Stone affects your thoughts, this effect should be negated by the other stones, like the Space Stone's phase-shifting energy field."

"Oh, then I'm relieved."

Hearing this, Fang Mo took out a container and slowly brought the Mind Stone close to the Infinity Gauntlet.

Another 'ding' sound was heard.

A completely different energy surged into his body.

Pale yellow energy swept out, and Fang Mo faintly heard many strange voices, like the inner voices of the dwarves, noisy and chaotic, flooding into his mind with different emotions.

However, the Space Stone brightened slightly, and all these auditory hallucinations vanished instantly.

"Indeed, it's good," Fang Mo nodded in satisfaction after seeing that the Mind Stone had calmed down.

Then, Fang Mo took out the last container.

After opening it, liquid ether particles quickly left the container and began to float unconsciously in mid-air. Seeing this, Fang Mo raised his Infinity Gauntlet.

However, what Fang Mo didn't expect was,

Even in front of the Infinity Gauntlet, the Aether particles surprisingly remained in a liquid state, not solidifying into their original Reality Stone.

"Damn!"

Upon seeing this, Fang Mo couldn't help but swear.

Eitri frowned as well; it was clear that this situation exceeded his expectations as well.

Not giving up, Eitri took back the Infinity Gauntlet and fiddled with it for a while, then tried to solidify the ether particles. The result was even worse this time. The Aether particles resisted and emitted a burst of energy, blowing Eitri completely away. His huge body slammed into a wall, and he coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"Alright, it seems I can't handle this thing..."

Eitri wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and spoke somewhat helplessly to Fang Mo, "I can guarantee that all the other Infinity Stones will work, but this thing... its properties are a bit special, you better consult an expert."

"I just wiped them out a few days ago,"

Fang Mo facepalmed, "And now you're telling me to go find an expert. How? By reanimation?"

"Then you can give me some more time."

Eitri coughed twice and said, "I can try to create a device specifically designed to modify it, but that will take a long time."

"Oh, you keep working on that here, and I'll go ask others."

Fang Mo nodded, having already made up his mind to go ask the Collector or someone in the void.

Though Eitri's forging skills were exquisite, he was only a Dwarf King, not a God King. Even God King Odin had no way to handle Aether particles, so dealing with it was troublesome and required consulting cosmic-level elders.

Before leaving, Fang Mo gave these dwarfs quite a bit of alcohol.

This action won him the friendship of the dwarfs. Fang Mo was already a master blacksmith and now gifted them alcohol, so almost all the dwarfs except Eitri, who was busy studying, got thoroughly drunk.

After leaving Nidavellir,

Fang Mo didn't head straight to the void but returned to Earth.

He had left in a hurry to catch up with the plot of Thor 2, and the Ender Dragon was still in Nick Fury's hands.

Fang Mo was a little worried that if he didn't go back and get the dragon soon, it would become a black dragon.

Following the blue-black spatial mist, Fang Mo returned to Earth.

The place he returned to was Nick Fury's safe house.

As soon as he landed,

He heard a burst of joyful laughter.

Curious, Fang Mo looked up and found that Nick Fury was playing with the Ender Dragon. The scene was quite strange, with Nick Fury crawling on the ground and the Ender Dragon sitting on him, seemingly very happy.

It looked like they were playing some sort of "riding the big horse" game, but something seemed off.

Even Fang Mo stood there stunned for a moment.

However, the Ender Dragon's perception was strong, and noticed Fang Mo's sudden appearance. It let out a joyful roar and flew toward Fang Mo.

"MAAAAA!"

The Ender Dragon burrowed into Fang Mo's arms and affectionately rubbed its head against him.

"!?"

Only at this moment did Nick Fury suddenly realize what had happened. He jumped up from the ground, his once cheerful face turning serious, trying to act like nothing had happened.

"Is everything sorted out on Asgard's end?"

Nick Fury asked, pretending to be calm.

"You were having a lot of fun just now." Fang Mo couldn't help but tease, "So what were you playing? Horse-riding?"

"I was just mopping the floor,"

Nick Fury retorted, "You know, ever since SHIELD was disbanded, I've had to clean these safe houses myself. This mischievous little guy just happened to jump on me."

"Do you have some sort of beast fetish?"

Fang Mo looked suspiciously at Nick Fury, then at the Ender Dragon in his arms, "You don't think this little guy will transform into a human, do you?"

"Why would you think that?"

Nick Fury paused.

"After all, you are Fury, so being a Furry makes sense, right?"

Fang Mo touched his chin.

"....." Nick Fury Deadpanned.

"Don't cause trouble as soon as you return. Remember, you asked me to take care of this little pet. Do you know how hard it is to take care of it?" Nick Fury grumbled, changing the subject effortlessly,

"What? Does it bite people if it doesn't get to play 'riding the big horse'?"

Fang Mo retorted with a wide grin.

"Can you stop mentioning 'riding the big horse'?" Nick Fury felt a twitch in his eye, "I've been busy taking care of it these days..."

"Well, it's a dark horse, indeed."

Fang Mo said cheerfully.

"..."

Nick Fury looked at Fang Mo, took a deep breath, and finally said, "Agent Barton was injured by it and is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital."
