Chapter 4: The Man in Black

When they first entered the room, the party had thought that the woman was their mother. Now, they knew that the woman was their stepmother. Their father was dead. They didn't know what to do.

"This is the Other Place." The woman said, as if reading their minds.

"Yes, this is the Other Place." The party said.

"It's very sad."

"We know."

"We have to go back."

"Yes, we do."

"But how?"

"That's the problem."

"What do we do?"

"We have to do something."

"But what?"

"We'll figure that out when we have to."

"Okay."

"There has to be a way."

"Yes."

"There always is."

"Now, come on, let's go."

The party followed the woman through the door. When they entered the room, the woman turned around.

"Bye, mom."

"Bye, sweetie."

The woman's sad, tear-filled eyes turned to the party. "Bye, kids."

The party waved at the woman as she shut the door.

"We have a problem."

"What is it?"

"We have to kill the Antagonist."

"The what?"

"The villain."

"Oh, that."

"Yeah, that." Soon the dragons appeared , and the party prepared for their journey. They all climbed onto their dragons. They had been trained very well, and soon they were in the air. They flew off into the horizon. The woman was very happy to see them leave.

They rode the wind for a few hours, and then they arrived at their destination.

The Other Place was very, very beautiful. The party had expected it to be something like the mansion in the Other Place, but it was much more beautiful. There were many different types of different buildings, and they were all very, very interesting.
