"Why are you tagging along to join in the excitement?" Granny said to Grandpa as they descended the stairs.

"How can you say I'm just joining in the excitement? If he really is your grandson, then he's my grandson too, so of course I want to go see him," Grandpa said, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"How did he become your grandson?"

"And why couldn't he be? Don't forget, we are now legally married, with the little red booklet to prove it, everything's worry-free!" Grandpa said proudly, chin up.

Seeing Grandpa's adorable demeanor, Jian Dan couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Look, even Little Jian thinks I should go!" Grandpa pointed at Jian Dan, who was covering her mouth while laughing.

"Huh?" Jian Dan was inadvertently dragged into this.
