Tian stood before a dark portal that emitted a compelling, sinister energy.
The energy sends a shiver into his body, and his expression goes dark, and he is apprehensive about the unknown place he would be sent to.
Mo Chen brought him here after he agreed to Lord Mo's prepositions.
"Alright, you can enter now."
Mo Chen told him with an expressionless face; simultaneously, he looked at the boy standing before him with pity.
He sighs...
"Here you go"...
Mo Chen handed him a ring.
"What's this for?"
"This is a storage ring; every cultivator has it with them to help carry and store their belongings."
"All the things Lord Mo promises you are inside the ring; you will have the pills and natural resources there. Also, many books will give you knowledge on the cultivation world there".
Mo Chen explained.
"But how will I access everything in the ring since I have no idea how things work here ?"
Tian asked
"All you have to do is drip your blood on it, then the ring will accept you as its owner. After that, you can access it with your mind; it's as simple as that, so can you get going now and stop wasting my time".
"I'm getting tired of talking to a dead man already."
Mo Chen replies to him in an angry tone before pushing him into the portal without even waiting for him to respond.
Haaaaaaa…..
"I will kill you when I'm out of this goddam place, you bastard old man."
A scream rang out from the portal before it close up.
Tsk tsk…
"Kill me ?"
Snort…
"Let's see if you can survive that place before you even think of killing me."
Mo Chen said, with a sneer on his.
Who would have thought that his actions had already verified his death?
Tian opens his eyes, and the first thing that comes into his view is the black-red sky with a deep, blood moon.
He tried to move his body, but a terrible pain assaulted his mind; he gritted his teeth together while enduring the pain that almost made him faint.
Then he looked into his body, and he was speechless; all his bones were broken, and his vein was shattered, but surprisingly, these injuries didn't kill him, and in fact, they'd started to heal.
Upon realizing this, he took a deep breath with his eyes closed while waiting for the healing miracle to be completed as usual.
He can't help thinking of such bad luck he has had since he reincarnated into this world.
"Is my luck really that terrible?"
He thought to himself before opening his eye to observe his surroundings.
He realizes he is lying on a grass field, and a clear river is streaming a few meters away.
And he was surrounded by big trees; the atmosphere around here was evil, and it was dark, with a red light illuminating the environment.
Tian felt a lot of predator gaze in his environment, and it felt like some creatures were about to pounce on him at any moment.
He stops making movements and lies still on the ground like a dead man while he controls his breathing.
He starts bidding his time and waiting for his body to heal.
Moreover, his body is the only thing he can depends on now since he hasn't started cultivating any energy.
This goes on for some hours...
His body is completely healed, and he feels its explosive power.
He clenched his fist together, and his gaze became crazed like a warrior ready to enter battle.
Even though he had not participated in any fighting and killing, he has experienced a lot of killing and fighting that his mind has engraved the feelings, and his instinct is sharp like a general who has gone through countless battles.
He stood up and stretched his body while preparing his mind for the coming dangers that might happen at any given time; then, he started walking to the river beside him.
Upon getting there, he bends and stares into the river to see his reflection, and what he sees surprises him more.
He saw a very handsome face with pure white hair that reached his shoulder, a pointed nose, and pink lips, he had a sharp ear like that of elves, but the tips of his ear were covered in black scale round, he had a double pupil on each eye which are the combination of golden and violet while runes are on each pupil and finally, there were deep blood red runes on his forehead that he doesn't know what it means. Still, it gave off a very heavy and destructive aura.
He was surprised to see his transformation, but still, many questions appeared in his mind.
"What have I become? A beast or human or the combination of both, and what's the deal with my eye and the tattoo that gave him a mysterious feeling on this forehead?"
He was lost in thought while admiring his handsome features.
Not until a terrifying pain assaulted his mind he screamed in pain.
Haaaaa...
He stood up and looked down at his chest where that pain was coming from; then he saw an arrow tip that had pierced his chest from the back.
His beastly instinct kicked in, then he looked behind him and saw some creature with a human's upper body and a horse's lower body.
Some had their arrows pointed at him, ready to shoot, while some were charging at him with spears in their hand.
Tian's eyes widen in surprise.
He was surprised cause of two things; firstly, he saw a fucking centaur; he had only read that in books back on Earth; seeing things for real and reading them in fantasy books are two different things.
Secondly, he knows his body is powerful, so he is surprised that this creature's arrow can pierce his body.
Immediately he realizes the danger he is in and starts running in an unknown direction.
Fuck, fuck, fuck
"Where the fuck did these people send me to?"
"Why I'm I always encountering people that want to take my life for no reason? Fuck."
"Kill the stinky human bastard".....
The centaurs roar while chasing after him. Some are shooting arrows at him, while some are throwing spears.
Tian felt another pain cause another arrow had just pierced his abdomen.
He screams in pain, but he grits his teeth while keeping himself conscious cause the pain is too much.
He just healed not too long ago and is experiencing another form of situation that brings another wave of pain to his soul.
Suddenly a centaur appeared in front of him; he was so fast that he caught up to him.
Then the creature strikes him with his spear. Time seemed to slow down, his raging mind calmed down, and he could see every detail of the Centaur and its attack.
Something awoke in his mind, and proud feelings emerged in his heart.
"Since when did a predator become prey."
This thought crossed his mind, and a crazed look like that of a madman ready to put everything at risk appears on his face; the aura around him becomes destructive and berserk.
A golden and black scale with a violet rune appears and covers his arm.
Then he throws a blow that comes with a solid destructive energy.
Boooooommm
Both blow and spear collided, and explosive energy rang out
The Centaur took a step back with a grunt. But Tian was blown back, and his arm was utterly pulverized; when he landed, he threw out a large amount of blood from his mouth.
He rose as fast as he could while disregarding his injuries and pains cause he was blown back to meet the remaining Centaur he left behind.
He regained his footing and tried to rush in another direction, but another arrow pierced his leg, which didn't stop him From running.
Another centaur was standing in the direction he was now running to while his bow was drawn and reading to shoot the prey that his running in his order.
Tian saw this and wanted to choose another direction to avoid the creature's deadly attack.
But then he realized that the energy from the Centaur differed from the one that attacked him earlier.
Upon realizing this, he continues rushing to meet the centaur head-on.
A smile appears on the Centaur's face, then he bids his time and aims for a headshot kill.
He released the arrow when the distance was close.
Twang.....
Tian saw the arrow coming for his head.
He instinctively moves his head a little cause the arrow is too fast for him to dodge entirely and lets the arrow pierce his shoulder while he throws a mighty blow with his left arm covered in scale, aiming directly for the Centaur's head.
Boommm
He stands no chance against the destructive blow. The Centaur's head was smashed into pieces. But Tian didn't stop as he kept running for his life.
