chapter 60: Arrogant Tian.

Tian was not too worried about Ying Ya's safety after letting one of the shadow warriors in Arthur's troops stand guard with her. All the shadow warriors under Arthur are fierce in nature, Tian had even considered the Arthur group as the most substantial group, but he knew that was not the same; each group is strong and unique in their own way.

Tian left Ying Ya in the sword burial group and started flying deeper inside the core zone, along with Lingyi and Song Bao. After flying for forty minutes, they arrived in the core zone, and ahead of them were thirteen tall pillars, six on the right, six on the left, and one golden pillar that stood out among the rest in the center.

But there was a barrier stopping people from rushing toward the pillars; each pillar represented a seat, and once the sacred energy erupted along with the faith energy, this pillar would erupt with the most concentrated sacred power, while the faith energy would surround the whole land, some people come for the faith energy while some are here for the sacred energy.

However, the top prodigy will always go for the sacred energy because it is an energy higher than the faith energy, while the rest of the people that can't contest for the sacred energy will only make do with the faith energy.

Tian frowned because many people were already outside the barriers; he knew this would be an epic battle because he had to secure at least seven of the thirteen pillars for himself and the people around him.

At first, Tian wasn't planning on absorbing any of the energy because heaven cursed him not to be able to absorb any energy under it. However, after he reached the peak stage of the starry stars' creation, new information appeared in his mind; this information stated that Tian needed a considerable amount of sacred energy to break through to the hegemony path Ascension, the next realm in his cultivation.

Also, Tian learned that sacred energy is a type of energy that is not within the Heavenly Dao's control; it's a type of energy that was born even before the creation of Heavenly Dao, so Tian can absorb it as much as he wants.

Tian did not show himself yet; he hid in the space with the two ladies clutching each of his hands while he wrapped his arm around their waist. He used the universal Heavenly Eye to scan the whole surrounding, as there were millions of experts from every clan, sect, and many more organizations under each of the four empire present here.

All of them grouped themself according to the empire they were subjugated to, and the primary child of each empire was standing in front, leading each group.

As for the Evil Dragon Empire, Mu Chen is the only Evil Child present, leading all the hundreds of thousands of experts under the empire; however, Mu Chen is a bit tense and uses his spiritual sense to scan the surroundings, searching for Tian.

Mu Chen was tense because of the atmosphere; all the other empires had at least three child leading their group even the Barbarian Evil corpse empire now had two barbarian corpse child with them even though Tian had killed one of them.

Moreover, Tian could feel all three empires' hostility toward the Evil Dragon Empire, and he knew they wouldn't have a problem banding together to eradicate everyone from the Evil Dragon Empire.

This is to be expected anyway because Lord Su, the supreme leader of the Evil Dragon Empire, had been waging war against the three empires to make the empire the only supreme ruler ever since he ascended the throne.

Tian was not too bothered; he immediately sent a spiritual message to Mu Chen that he was around, just not ready to show up yet. After Mu Chen received the message, his tense expression turned calm, and his face became firm, a vast battle intent radiating from him.

"Mu Chen, where is the second Evil child? Don't tell me he ran off after killing my sister," Zhen Wu shouted at Mu Chen after he couldn't find Tian in the group.

"Humph, why will my brother run away after killing a small ant from your group?" Mu Chen replied

"People from the Evil dragon empire like to act arrogant everywhere. Do you all think you are some kind of God?" a calm voice resounds from the netherworld empire.

Everyone turned their gaze to the direction the voice came from, and they saw a young man with red hair, a thin figure, with golden eyes; he had a vast aura around him; he was the second nether child of the netherworld empire, and behind him stood the fourth nether child, core members of the nether world empire and many more clans, sect, and organization in the netherworld region.

"What if we act like a God? What can you do about it?" Mu Chen did not back away; he replied with a cold tone.

"HAHAHAHA, the evil dragon empire members are known for their arrogance and fearless attitude. This is an eye-opening scenario" Another voice came from the Ghost empire, and the voice belonged to a figure that looked ethereal; she looked like she existed between reality and illusion; sometimes she was there, and another second she wasn't there. The same with the other figures behind her. She is the third ghost child of the ghost empire, Mei Niang.

"Brother Jun, how about we eradicate the evil dragon empire, members, before we fight for the pillars?" Zhen Wu said to the second nether child of the nether empire.

"Humph, why will I join hands with you to eradicate these ants when I can do that myself?" Jun replied in an arrogant tone.

"oh, Jun, aren't you scared of being bitten by others when you exhaust your power?" Mei Niang asked, and her tone resounded everywhere that any couldn't point out her specific position.

"humph, all schemes are nothing in front of absolute power," Jun replied with his arrogant tone, and his aura exploded heavily that some weak people from each group felt suffocated.

"Arrogant as always," Zhen Wu said.

"Zhen Wu, you misunderstood my action; this is not arrogant; this is simply cause I'm confident of my absolute power". Jun replied, still with his arrogant tone.

"I'm inquisitive about how strong you might be to dare think of eradicating people from my evil dragon empire". A voice with a more arrogant tone resounded throughout the whole place.

Everyone turned to look in the direction the voice was coming from, and they saw a man sitting on a bone throne, with two beautiful ladies seated on each of his sides.

Tian's appearance brought a smile to Mu Chen and some people who knew Tian from the Evil dragon empire, while others frowned. Because of Tian's aura, they could feel that he was not simple.

"Oh, you seem strong too; this becomes more interesting," Mei Niang's voice rang out from everywhere again, and this time she sounded happy and eager. Of course, she will be since the ghost empire people gather the fragment of souls of people to cultivate, and the stronger the soul fragment they collect, the stronger they become in time.

Tian smiled and looked in a particular direction, "of course I'm strong, but don't even think of gathering any souls here, not even mention aiming for my soul," Tian replied with a machiavellian smile.

Tian needs to warn her because he is also in need of souls, and blood essence of people here for his shadow warriors to grow stronger, so how can he allow other people to take away his greatest resources. When it comes to resources, Tian had many resources with him, even some that cannot be found anymore in this Era. However, the only resources he lacked the most were the souls and blood essences to cultivate his army, so he had to be stingy about that part.

"You bastard dare kill my sister and still have the gut to show your face in front of me?" Zhen Wu shouted at Tian.

"and so? What if I killed her? Don't tell me you all are allowed to kill people, but others are not allowed to kill you?" Tian replied calmly.

"I don't care; for you to dare kill her, you must pay back with your life," Zhen Wu roared, and Li Wei, standing behind him with a new body, screamed at Tian.

Tian couldn't help but wonder why the barbarian corpse members acted dumb; he wondered if they'd used their intelligence in exchange for brute strength.

"Well, if you have the gut and power to take my life, please make your move," Tian replied lazily.

He would be happy if someone could take his life because he had been placed as a player in a huge game ever since he was born. Even though he doesn't know how huge the game is, he knows his life will never be peaceful; it will be filled with war after war, so why won't he be happy if someone could actually take his life?
