Chapter 13: Fighting a tough guy
Both Anik and Jonathan said, and all three were positioned themselves in their fighting stance.
"Fight"
Both Anik and Jonathan rum towards Ace.
But ace didn't move from his standing point.
Anik and Jonathan started to come closer to Ace and suddenly Ace ran towards Jonathan and tried to knee kick him, but Jonathan barely dodged that.
"Oh!! I barely dodged that."
Jonathan said to himself.
"Not bad not bad but disappointing nonetheless."
Ace said to Jonathan and then towards Anik.
Ace wanted to finish the stronger one first, but he didn't use his full power, so Jonathan was able to dodge.
'Fuck!! I am really the weak one here. Jonathan was capable of seeing the attack coming and dodging it, but I didn't even see the attack coming.'
Anik thought to himself while looking at Ace.
Subsequently, both Anik and Jonathan were near each other, so they couldn't let Ace fight one-on-one with even one of them; otherwise they will lose.
Anik both tries to attack together, Jonathan tries to attack the head and Anik attempts to attack the gut.
But, Ace stops the attack towards the head with a left hand and the gut attack with his right knee. Like that, ace was able to stop and dodge many of Anik and Jonathan's attacks while hitting them sometime.
And suddenly Jonathan fell to the ground and only anik there to fight Ace. He attempts to dodge and evade attacks from ace until Jonathan comes back but only could dodge some attacks that mostly hit him.
After one minute, he was trying very hard not to fall to the ground, but instantly fell into the ground under Ace after Ace gave him a solid hit in his face.
However, suddenly, Jonathan stood up from the ground and was trying to throw something at him.
Ace immediately deduced that it was sand, first looked at the ground where Anik was laying and there was no movement and thought that can sand be a weapon, but he didn't have enough time to think.
So, he instantly closed his eyes, but nothing came.
*Crack*
But, he feels pain in his balls. And when he opened his eyes to see Anik right injured hand in his groan area.
"Aahhhhhh…"
Ace screamed but still didn't fall and immediately punched Anik, but that punch was not that powerful still it knocked down Anik for a couple of seconds.
At that time, Jonathan also kicked ace a couple times and both were going at each other and on equal footing for a second.
But, Ace suddenly started to overwhelm Jonathan and if Jonathan didn't do anything, Ace will soon recover and they lose.
So, Jonathan tried to hit ace balls again, but immediately stopped by Ace.
"Not again "
Ace said furiously and was trying to calm his mind but couldn't.
Then, from nowhere, Anik hit the back of the head of Ace with all his power with his right hand.
"Ahhhhhhh…"
Both Anik and Ace scream in pain.
And Ace losing his sense of balance. His head was ringing like hell, but he didn't fall and attempted to hit both Anik and Jonathan, however, failed.
Then, Jonathan hit in the face and stomach of Ace multiple times, still ace didn't fall and attempted to hit them.
But from the back,Anik held the Ace waist very tightly.
*THUD*
Ace falls on his head just like Anik's previous opponent and loses his consciousness.
However, the fight was still not over. And sent Anik was trying to get up.
[Anik from the side to the head]
After hearing that, Anik immediately rolled to the front and dodged the attack coming from Jonathan.
"I really wanna finish this fast, but you don't want it, do you?"
Jonathan said to Anik.
"Me too, I want to finish, so quit now."
Anik said sarcastically.
"Don't mind it, ok."
Jonathan said to Anik.
"Same to you "
Both charged at each other and started to throw punches and kick to each other for a few minutes.
And Jonathan already can see the lack of proper technique in Anik fighting. Anik was able to successfully hit some time but was barely hanging there.
After some punches, Anik was able to keep distance between them.
"Why am I so weak ?"
[Well, they were 1 month earlier than you, so they have seen far more than you…]
"I know!!, But still, I have an equal drive to survive as much as they have in them even if I am not stronger like them. Help me for now"
Anik said to Aafia while looking serious.
[Sure:)]
"What are you thinking, huh, focus on the fight?"
Jonathan said to Anik while trying to hit him, but Anik blocked it.
"Just what position to choose after winning this ?"
Anik said to Jonathan sarcastically.
Jonathan didn't get provoked by that and attacked more aggressively.
[From right towards the head, left to the gut, to the leg, straight to the face…]
Anik dodges many attacks from Jonathan with the help of Aafia and he also gets to hit Jonathan a few times.
And he was luring Jonathan near Ace, who was twitching a little bit and when Anik was going near Ace immediately tried to stop him, but he couldn't hit him somehow even if he was not looking towards him.
But he was somehow near Ace's body and Ace suddenly opened his eyes, and he first saw Jonathan.
And immediately attacks him and both fall to the ground. Both were trying to perform submission to each other and Jonathan was at the top attempting to arm bar Ace but immediately thought of Anik.
However, it was too late.
*Bam*bam*
Both Jonathan and Ace were hit in the side of the head(rear side) by Anik's leg which was in full swing and both ace and Jonathan lost their consciousness.
"Anik won the match."
The soldier said in shock.
But anik also couldn't stay conscious after hearing he won, and he also loses his consciousness.
"Send these three to the medical center and tell them to visit my office tomorrow."
The colonel said to the soldier near him.

INSIDE MEDICAL CENTER/10:12PM
" Anik wake up."
Someone said to Anik.
"Ugh… who"
Anik difficulty said and opened his eyes to see him in a medical bed and on each side there were Ace and Jonathan.
And In front was Dr. Sophia looking furious.
"Oh hello Dr. Sophia. How are you doing?"
Anik said to Dr. Sophia nervously.
"Didn't I tell you to rest for a while, now the hand is even more swollen, and it will take 1 week to heal."
Dr. Sophia said to Anik coldly.
"I just want to join the combat team."
Anik said to Dr. Sophia.
"Why not join after you recover and then try to join next month's selection?"
Dr. Sophia said to Anik. But,Anik didn't say anything.
"Well that's your thing, but if I see you fighting again in the next one week, I will make you get dismissed from the position you will get. Do you understand?"
Dr. Sophia said to Anik very seriously.
"Yes, yes I will follow your ord-uh I mean request ?"
Anik said to Dr. Sophia and finally, she left.
"Oh oh what am I seeing uhh with general Liam's daughter."
Jonathan said to Anik looking amused and Ace was awake too.
"She just pities me I think because I stayed so long in the outside world, that's all."
Anik said to Jonathan.
"I don't think the general Liam daughter…"
