Chapter 26: Confrontation

First, Anik, Ace and Jonathan are confused but after seeing the dead woman, they also get what happened their eyes turn murderous and try to immediately go inside.

But Luna stops them and when they try to question why. They saw anger in her eyes and attempted to hold it in.

"Don't shoot for now because it will attract nearby zombies. We don't know how many are there inside, and it will be difficult to defend against both zombies and humans.

But if they also have guns, just shoot them."

Luna said with anger in her voice.

After hearing that, they relax a bit and slowly follow behind Luna.

After reaching the front locked door, they attempt to listen to the people inside.

Luna shouted while looking at the door and then the road. Zombies were running towards them.

"Shit!!! Holden threw a gas grenade inside."

Luna said to Holden and he immediately threw the gas grenade inside the station from the window.

But Cain also threw something outside from the window, which was a flash grenade.

Both gas and flash grenades exploded. The room started to fill with gas, so Cain people started to open the door.

Anik and the team were also blinded a bit even if they closed their eyes.

Due to that, Cain people were able to unlock the door without getting the gun down.

When both sides open their eyes after coming from the inside and after getting hit with a flash grenade.

*Bang*bang*bang* ….

Both sides have the same number of people. Immediately, two people from each team started shooting the incoming zombies.

Jonathan and Holden were shooting from the Luna team towards the zombies.

Cain immediately shoots Luna, but she dodges and hides behind the car.

"Long time no see Luna"

Cain said to Luna.

Luna doesn't say and tries to shoot him, but he also hides behind a broken car.

Anik, Ace, Jonathan and Holden also hide behind a car. Anik and Ace try shooting the soldiers, while Jonathan and Holden try to kill the Zombies.

"Don't you know, attacking other camp soldiers is against the rules?"

Cain said to Luna while shooting at the car she was hiding.

"What the hell are you saying? You are the one who attacks first."

Luna said to him while also setting out to shoot him from behind the car.

Everyone's ammo was soon going to finish, so everyone wanted to kill others fast Anik and Ace were able to kill two soldiers.

They were now trying to target the soldiers who were shooting the zombies but didn't and instantly attempted to attack the captain.

But the captain was able to evade the bullets by ducking down.

After a while, everyone gets empty. Everyone was taking out their guns.

Cain and his two remaining soldiers get out from behind a car with a knife in their hands.

The Luna team also take out their knives and stand against the Cain team.

The zombies stopped coming before the guns were empty, so they didn't have to about it.

"Ace and Anik join me to fight Cain and Jonathan and Holden fight those remaining two guys."

Luna said to the team, and they all just nodded.

"Leader, is he that strong?"

Anik asked Luna.

"Yes, he was my senior."

Luna said.

"Umm, three on-one huh isn't it a handicap for you"

Cain said to Luna sarcastically.

"We will know, surely enough."

Luna said to Cain cautiously while holding a knife with a forward grip.

Following that, Cain immediately threw his empty gun at Ace and then tried to stab Luna but was able to block Nick of time.

But she blocked it and tried to counterattack it. Anik tried to attack him from the back, but Cain tried to leg sweep him, but Ace jumped back barely.

"You got yourself a pretty decent subordinate. It would be bad if I killed them, wouldn't it."

Cain said with a sinister smile.

Luna tries to stab Cain's stomach, but he backs up and tries to round kick Luna but can't due to getting attacked by Ace and Anik.

But he was able to block Ace's straight attack and dodge Anik's wide knife slash.

After that, Cain looked like he was attacking Ace, but he suddenly kicked Ace's stomach and threw Ace's knife out of Ace's hand.

Following that, Anik tried a reverse grip to stab him, but Cain was capable of blocking it and deflecting Anik's knife out of his hand.

Even if they go to pick up their knife, their other team will feel pressured immediately, so they attempt to attack Cain with careful movement and distance.

Now, Luna was the only one who had a knife and could fight Cain head-on.

When both try any moves to attack and stab each other they always block or evade each other's moves. Also, Cain can't attack carelessly, otherwise, the two boys with Luna can hit him if he isn't careful.

Then Cain immediately changed his direction and went to attack Anik and Ace. Luna didn't have and chose and started running behind him.

Cain tried to stab Anik or Ace to minimize the opponent but the two boys were very agile but not for long.

After a few attacks, Luna also came near him but he only dodged or evaded her attack and only focused on attacking the two boys.

Then after fighting for a minute, Anik was losing his stamina. Cain finally was able to see an opening on Anik and attacked Anik with his knife straight through his skull. Anik

can't dodge it but he was trying to say something.

Anik heard the hitting of two knives.

Luna lost her knife while blocking the attack, but she was also able to throw away Cain's knife. Cain became more careful and focused.

Anik and Ace immediately pounced on Cain while Luna straight-punched him.
