Nadia's, Clark's and Nicole's Grim Demise

Once everyone fell asleep, the creature followed their scent and arrived within twenty minutes. And it continued to gaze at the group, and eventually, it smiled and let out an ear-piercing screech, waking everyone but Hendrix up. And the class all looked around, trying to find the source of the screech.

"What the heck was that?!" Allura yelled while jumping up and frantically looking around the campsite.

Right after her question, a fast but silent current of air flew to a sizeable fifty-two-foot-tall tree near Asher and split it in two. Cleanly cutting it in the middle as both halves fell to the ground due to the force, nearly crushing him but the current left after its action.

'What did that?!' Asher thought while his eyes dilated, and he began sweating profusely before his eyes moved in all directions, searching for the culprit. Additionally, some wood chips lay embedded in his right leg.

"I'm not sure, Allura, but we must go now!" Natasha yelled while she got up and shivered as her eyes widened.

"Hendrix is still asleep, and everyone split up into groups of four! It's the best way to survive now!" Valentina yelled while gritting her teeth and looking at Natasha and Allura.

The trio nodded in unison and left in a direction. However, Kiannah followed them. Everyone else left in groups of four except for Clark, Nicole, and Nadia.

Clarks POV

"Nicole, Nadia! Hurry this way. We'll regroup with everyone later on if we survive!" Clark yelled while frantically looking in all directions.

"Alright, let's run to our right then!" Nicole instructed while running In that direction.

"Wait, we need a light source. Here I'll hold a branch and reignite it with the still burning fire." Clark replied while hurriedly doing what he said and ran after Nicole.

"Wait for me!" Nadia yelled while hurrying after them.

Meanwhile, the creature guffawed at the class, dispersing and fleeing in terror, before it saw the light Clark was holding and chose their group. Afterward, it silently followed them while running at immense speeds, circling the group as it chuckled.

"Do you think the thing is following us?!" Clark asked while his lips trembled and quivered.

"I hope not if it could cut a tree in two. Imagine what that will do to our bodies." Nadia replied while she looked left and right as she continued running.

"That image is graphic and macabre, Nadia! I don't need to think about that while we run for our lives!" Nicole yelled while she briskly ran.

"I hope we are safe." Clark replied as he stopped to take a breather.

Nadia and Nicole also took a pause as well.

Meanwhile, the creature smiled and let them rest, and gave them a false sense of security. However, it scrutinized them with its gaze.

And for thirty minutes, the group rested, and when they finished, they began walking.

"Please let the creature be gone." Nicole begged while she began to cry.

"I beg for it to decide to leave us alone." Nadia also pleaded while crying.

"Please, please." Clark begged while saying please repeatedly as tears fell from his face.

The creature's smile widened, seeing it scared its prey, and again decided not to attack but keep staring.

After about thirty more minutes, the group calmed down, thinking the creature spared them, and stopped crying. However, a rude awakening awaited them as a fast current of air flew by Nadia while cutting her left ear off and cleaving a gigantic boulder in two. Consequently, the boulder's sides fell over in front of her.

"I-It's still here, and it's sadistic..." Nadia stuttered and whimpered, realizing the creature was toying with them and gritting her teeth from the pain of where her ear used to be.

"Why is the Crown World so vile and evil!?" Nicole yelled while she began crying again.

"Run away!" Clark yelled as he ran.

"Wait for us!" Nadia and Nicole yelled while following him.

The creature let out garbled laughter as it watched the trio flee from it before it grinned and followed them in a zigzag pattern. Additionally, it cut down many trees and boulders, trying to maximize the group's fear and despair.

"It's coming for us!" Clark yelled while he shivered, seeing many trees fall around them with his makeshift torch.

"I don't know if we'll make it out alive." Nadia admitted while her heart rate doubled.

"Neither do I? But we have to try! Think of your parents and siblings back on earth! Don't you want to see them again? Because I sure want to see mine! So let's not give up!" Nicole yelled while gritting her teeth.

"I do want to see them. I want to make them proud! Please, someone, save us!" Nadia yelled while tears fell from her eyes.

However, no one answered Nadia's plea, as the only ones who could have helped already escaped.

"Nicole, Nadia, I want to see my family." Clark whimpered while his hands twitched and quivered as he ran.

"So do I! Just one last time, let me see them, whoever is listening! Just one more time!" Nadia yelled while her expression worsened.

Nicole gritted her teeth and clenched her fists.

Meanwhile, the creature's eyes dilated as it saw them beg and see Nicole's anger before it let out another screech to scare them even more.

"Why is this thing so diabolical!?" Nicole fumed while she gritted her teeth so hard that her gums started to bleed, and her hands balled into fists.

"Nicole, are you alright?" Nadia asked, worried Nicole would lose herself to anger.

"I am not, sadly, due to our situation." Nicole replied while sighing.

"Guys, the sounds of the trees collapsing stopped!" Clark stated while pointing at them.

The trio looked around the area before forming a semi-circle and looking behind themselves. However, when the students turned around, their expressions became ghastly, and their faces were pale as snow as a silhouette stood in front of them with a sinister and malevolent appearance.

It looked like a miniature Spinosaurus that was as black as the abyss, with eyes that looked like a star-filled night and no pupils. However, it stood about a foot taller than Clark and had thin claws almost as long as he was tall.

It had serrations on each claw, its foot ones were even longer, and a bony covering covered its skin as Its tail snaked backward, providing it balance.

"P-Please spare us. Have mercy." Clark pleaded for his life.

The creature didn't make a sound before swinging its claws at the trio.

"No, ahh!" Clark yelled, feeling a jolt of pain as his view turned upside down, and once his head hit the ground, blood dripped down as his eyes closed without a sound.
