Chapter VIII: Supers to the Rescue

The boys pace around the forest in circles, trying to figure out how to handle the situation. "What are we going to do?!" Charlie says, panicking. Suddenly, Zak gets an idea of his own.

"I'll tell you what I'm going to do," he says. "I'm going after him."

"What?!" Charlie responds.

"It's too risky," Dexter adds.

"Look!" Zak says, trying his best to explain it to Charlie and Dexter. "This is a risk I have to take," he continues. "Besides, if I tried to stop him, he wouldn't have been taken."

"Dude, don't blame yourself; you didn't know what was happening," Dexter says "It's not your fault, bro." he finishes, reminding Zak again.

"Well, it is, Dexter," Zak responds, "I should've followed him." he continued, looking deeper into the woods. Zak faced the other boys. "I'm saving my brother." Before Zak could run deeper into the woods, Charlie grabbed his arm.

"Wait!" Charlie said, interrupting Zak's plan.

"What?" Zak responds.

"How do we even know where Christian might be?" Charlie asks.

"He has a point, Zak," Dexter says. "He could be anywhere by now."

"Don't worry," Zak says as he pulls out his phone. "It's all on the phone; his location should be on; all we need to do is track where he is." With a couple taps, the phone reveals Christian's location.

"Sweet," Charlie replies. Zak looks up from his phone, now filled with adrenaline.

"So, you guys in?" Zak asks the other boys. Dexter and Charlie then look at each other and then look at Zak. They nod.

"Let's do it," Dexter replies.

"Alright, let's go get my brother back," Zak says powerfully. They hold their heads high and march through the woods as fearlessly as their shaking bodies would allow.
