Doctor Florentino briskly led Cassandra and Anderson straight to Hiro’s room without further fanfare... and Cassandra was torn if she should call security or snap on the spot when she saw one of the nurses sitting in a chair next to his bed. In her opinion, the woman was leaning rather too closely over Akihiro's sleeping frame.
Luckily, Anderson spoke first.
“...hey,” her professor greeted as he quietly stepped inside before standing on the other side of the bed, looking over Akihiro worriedly. “How is he doing now?”
“Better than earlier,” the nurse answered.
