Meeting The Neighbors 3

When Albert gets to Kelvin's office, it's already time for a lunch break and James is currently sitting down with Kelvin with his food in his hand while Kelvin is yet to touch his meal.

"Yo bro, you're back," James said passing Albert's lunch to him and Albert collected the food from him before sitting down.

He unbuttoned his suit and loosened his tie slightly to feel more comfortable, he turned his head slightly to take a peek at Kelvin who was busy working on his pad, he was a little scared about the type of reaction Kelvin was going to have once he heard his feedback about the buyer of his house.

Noticing that he's yet to pay any attention to him as he was busy with whatever he was doing on his pad, Albert decided to start eating his food.

But unfortunately for him, he forgot that there was a gossipmonger in the room, he had only eaten one spoon before James who had been looking at him since he entered the room couldn't take it anymore.

He has been waiting for Albert to report about the matter Kelvin assigned to him to take care of but apart from taking a glance at the working Kelvin when he entered, he did not tell them the outcome of his outing.

" So what was the outcome of your meeting with Miss Green? What did Thalia say? Did she agree to sell the house or did she make a ridiculous request? Quickly tell me how she reacts " James said with an excited look on his face as he anticipated anxiously for a juicy gossip.

"James' manners, he will talk about that after lunch," Kelvin said sternly as he was annoyed with the way James distracted him while he was working and also for talking while eating.

Albert secretly signed a relief in his heart as he was afraid that once he told Kelvin the outcome of his meeting with Selena, he might drag him back to the estate to meet her and he probably won't have the opportunity to eat again and he will still have to bare his fury.

He hatefully glares at the talkative James who was looking like a drenched puppy a minute ago but now eating his lunch quietly after consoling himself in his heart.

Finally, Kelvin dropped his pad and picked up his lunch, The way he was eating was so graceful and elegant like that of royalty, making him look hot with a roll-up sleeve flaunting his arm muscles and tattoos and the way his Adam Apple gulp while eating, this sight will have made any lady lose her mind if present but unfortunately, only two men get to enjoy the view.

A few minutes later

The three young men are already done eating and the table is already cleared by the Secretary, Albert takes the bottle of water in front of him and gulps it down while Kelvin just looks at him while waiting for him to be done, James just looks at them with an excited look on his face.

The two of them knew that Albert was probably not going to deliver good news and that's why he was acting strange but James still wanted to know what happened while Kelvin wanted to know the result to determine his next course of action.

" First of all, the buyer is not Thalia as we expected, the buyer is an unfamiliar lady but also from the Greens family, and I suspect that she's someone who is already involved in the business world so she's cunning and difficult to deal with," Albert said calmly but deep down, he's nervous as fuck because he knew that behind Kelvin calm mask, he's already fuming inside.

"Her face is calm throughout the meeting without showing any feeling making it hard for me to read so I can't even guess what she is thinking"

"She said that she is not ready to give up the house and even ready to pay more if you think the amount she paid is too small and she doesn't seem afraid of you," Albert said looking at Kelvin's calm face for the hint of any emotion but it's still as calm as ever.

"She said you are richer than her but she doesn't think any businessman can throw away the chance to earn extra for a commodity that he can always get the same type because every penny is important to a businessman "

" wow! So there is someone brave enough to reject an offer from the C.E.O of V.L among the Greens family's new generation, Here I think they don't have anybody with enough potential to carry on their legacy but it seems like they are only hiding them" James said smiling cheekily like he just finds out some big secret.

" Interesting, is she is not only brave but smart enough to know what she wants, guess someone wants to negotiate with me one-on-one, she probably guesses that the house is important to me so she wants more benefits, James let meet with you neighbor," Kelvin said with a cunning glint in his eyes.

"You guys should probably wait till evening because she might not be around," Albert said looking at his friends, especially the eager James, the gossip monger, who can not wait to see the "Miss Green" that the country X did not know of.

" Ok, then we'll wait till evening," you guys should go back to your office," Kelvin said before getting up with his pad and making his way to his table.

" Kelvin, why don't you just give up the house, I don't think she's coming back so why don't you just forget about the past," Albert said looking at his best friend.

They thought he would forget about her with time but he's still as stubborn as ever and that's why they were happy when they saw him showing his emotions because of another lady hoping he has moved on but it seems like they are bound to be disappointed.

Albert and James exit the room with James trailing behind Albert disturbing him to tell him more about this mysterious Miss Green.

"OK, she is the most beautiful and elegant woman I've ever set my eyes on so you should probably dress and behave better when you meet her," Albert said emotionlessly

"Really," James said, and their voices gradually faded into the background making it impossible for Kelvin to hear the rest of their conversation as they moved further from his office.

Kelvin was sitting down thinking about this 'Miss Green' that nobody in the country X business world knows about despite being involved in the business sector, she is probably just him, using a different identity.
