Merlin went around essos and even Yi Ti in such travel, while training Melisandre.
In a secluded clearing deep within a forest, Merlin, with his long flowing robes, stood before young Melisandre, whose crimson garb contrasted against the lush greenery around them.
Merlin explained"Magic is all about intent, but
just thinking 'I want to make a flame' won't really work. You must let your mind slowly identify how each type of magic feels."
Merlisadre's eyes sparkled with awe and curiosity"So what about incantations, I read about them in the books you gave me."
Merlin nodded and explained"Incantations make casting spell easier, but you must not use them as a crutch."
Merlisandre nodded.
With a wave of his hand, Merlin summoned a gentle breeze, causing the leaves to rustle and dance in the air and said"Watch closely, Melisandre."
Melisadre studied and felt the magic used by Merlin, she was was in awe.
As Merlin continued"Air is an element of freedom, it responds to the will of user much easier than the other elements."
Next, he gestured towards a nearby stream, and the water began to rise, swirling and forming intricate patterns. "Water, fluid and adaptable," Merlin explained. "It flows where it's directed, yet it can also wear away the mightiest rock given time."
Merlin stamped his feet on the ground with a force that reverberated through the earth.
Suddenly, a single column of rock shot up from the earth, standing tall and sturdy before them.
"Earth, steadfast and resilient," he continued. "It provides stability and sustenance, the foundation upon which all life thrives."
Melisandre being young questioned with a doubtful tone"Wind, is it really that powerful."
Merlin sighed and said"Every element is powerful."
To illustrate his point, Merlin muttered an incantation"Riga Shreyd," he intoned, directing the tempest of swirling blades towards a massive boulder standing nearby.
The wind blades, sharp and relentless, sliced through the boulder with an ear-splitting crack, sending shards of rock flying in all directions.
Melisandre was in shock, but quickly breaking out of it said"I will learn everything carefully."
While this was happening in Valyria, Daenys Targaryen knelt in solemn prayer before the altar, her heart heavy with foreboding for the fate of Valyria. Deep in her soul, she sensed the ominous trajectory the once-great empire was following, a path veiled in darkness and despair.
Many in the Targaryen family regarded Daenys as a seer, since she often grappled with the fragmented visions, unsure of their significance or their ultimate purpose and sometimes she mumbled prophecies. These more or less came true with time.
So she knew the danger and fervently invoked the name of Eru, beseeching divine intervention for her beloved land, the veil between the present and the future momentarily parted, granting her a glimpse of the impending catastrophe.
In the vision, she saw the once-majestic fourteen flames erupting in a violent conflagration, engulfing Valyria in a shroud of dark, poisonous mist. Then Valyria was completely bathed in flames.
Daenys Targaryen was in shock after seeing such vision, but she broke out of it as the voice of Eru resonated within her mind, its solemn tone echoing with an undeniable sense of inevitability. "You cannot change Valyria's fate," the divine voice pronounced, each word laden with a weight that Daenys could scarcely bear. "Your only chance lies in guiding your family away from the path of doom."
With a heavy heart, Daenys understood the magnitude of the task that lay before her. Though she longed to alter the course of history and save her homeland from its inexorable demise, she knew that some destinies were unchangeable.
She was quick to inform her family about this and all of them believed her.
Daenys wasted no time in conveying the gravity of her visions and the divine warning to her family, gathering them together with a sense of urgency.
Her husband Gaemon and her children Aegon, Elaena and Aria we're present.
Her husband, Gaemon, a man of action tempered by wisdom, was the first to voice his resolve. "We must heed the counsel of the gods," he declared, his voice steady and resolute. "Their warnings cannot be disregarded."
The actions of House Velaryon in times past was now making sense to Gaemon and Daenys.
"It's true," Aegon continued, his voice tinged with conviction. "The Velaryons abandoned their seat of power in Valyria decades ago, they probably heeding a similar warning. Lord Perseus must have foreseen the peril that awaited our homeland."
Elaena, her brow furrowed in contemplation, nodded in agreement. "It is a possibility," she murmured softly, her thoughts drifting to the enigmatic figure of Lord Perseus, Son of Ulmo.
The Targaryens, deeply rooted in their faith in the Ancient gods, remained steadfast in their beliefs, their devotion unwavering despite the passage of time.
Velaryons have long moved away from Valyria, especially after the slow corruption of Valyria, they were warned by Perseus to not stay in Valyria.
