Alex, a 73-year-old man, was leading a miserable life in an era where old people were considered wretched. 

It all began when a new pharmaceutical company discovered a key to extending lifespan with a youthful elixir. 

However, the price of this elixir was so high that Alex, a former military man with no family or savings, could not afford it. His life became even more miserable as he was treated like trash by those around him.

His miserable existence continued until one fateful night when he met his demise due to unforeseen circumstances. 

When he awakened, he found himself in another world, inhabiting the body of a young man named Li Wei. Just when he thought the surprises were over, a notification appeared:

When Alex posed his question, the man swiftly responded, his body quaking from terror. "No, no, no," he stammered, his voice fraught with fear. "We weren't tailing you... we were merely... we were..." His words faltered, trailing off into a frightened whisper.

"I see, intriguing," Alex replied, then probed further, "So, you claim you weren't tailing me?"

"Yes, yes, I swear on my life we were not. It's just a misunderstanding," the man assured, his body trembling and covered in cold sweat from the paralyzing dread.

"Is that so?" Alex questioned, his voice frosty. This prompted the young man to look up, only to encounter Alex's icy blue eyes peering sharply at him.

The harsh glare struck fear into the young man's heart.

He was so petrified that he wet himself, stuttering in response, "Yes, yes, I see...,"
