It all began when a new pharmaceutical company discovered a key to extending lifespan with a youthful elixir. 

However, the price of this elixir was so high that Alex, a former military man with no family or savings, could not afford it. His life became even more miserable as he was treated like trash by those around him.

His miserable existence continued until one fateful night when he met his demise due to unforeseen circumstances. 

When he awakened, he found himself in another world, inhabiting the body of a young man named Li Wei. Just when he thought the surprises were over, a notification appeared:

Alex looked at Chen Wei after hearing what he said. "Alright, let's work together," he told him.

Chen Wei, upon hearing Alex's acceptance, quickly moved his hands that were resting on Alex's shoulders. He gave Alex a reassuring rub, saying, "Don't worry, big brother Li Wei, I'm sure you won't regret this."

Alex responded, "Yeah, I'm sure I'm going to regret this."

Upon hearing this, Chen Wei gave an awkward smile. Then, both of them began to head towards the voidland, ready to start their hunting phase of the competition.

"Boom!" A powerful punch landed on the head of a scorpion-like Qi beast, forcing it backward.

The beast hissed loudly and charged towards the chubby human who had punched it.

Suddenly, an arrow shot out of nowhere, heading straight for the beast's head and piercing it on impact.

The arrow had a wooden shaft and a metal tip.
