His miserable existence continued until one fateful night when he met his demise due to unforeseen circumstances.

As Alex fought to clear the fog from his mind, a flicker at the edge of his vision drew his attention. A heavy sense of dread settled over him as he turned, his gaze locking onto the massive Flaming Phoenix descending upon him with a terrifying speed its enormous flaming wing creating a line in the sky as it comes down.

In the brief interlude, while Alex was preoccupied fending off the assaults of a smaller flaming phoenix, this larger beast had seized the opportunity to swoop in, preparing to unleash its fiery wrath.

"Darn it..." Alex cursed out loud. His heart sank as he realized his predicament; there was no chance for defense, nor a moment to retreat. The proximity of the Flaming Phoenix was alarmingly close, much too close for comfort.
