THE DAY HAS COME

The next few days the boy spent his time normally. He didn't have that many friends because he didn't have an element and so he didn't really talk to anyone. He spent his days all by himself until this particular day. This particular day was his birthday and that also meant he was getting his domain today. He got to school early today and found that he wasn't the only student to come early. There was a professor standing in front of the school and telling the students to wait for a while.

Finally everyone got to school and the professor led them into the sports room which was the biggest room in the school. There was a podium with a clear crystal ball on it. The professor explained to them that they would have to touch the ball to get the crest of the domain and find out their domain element. The professor started mentioning names of students and they would walk up to the ball and touch it at which point it would start glowing the colour of their element.

The students were called out one after the other until it was the boy's turn. He slowly walked up to the crystal and placed his hand on it. The crystal started glowing silver and every student had a smug face or a mocking gaze that they casted on him thinking he was useless. Only the professor had a mix of shock, amazement and astonishment on his face.

While every student was looking at him worthlessly the professor was speechless. "So that is why you don't have an elemental energy signature You have the space elemental domain". Exclaimed the professor. The whole sports room was silenced. "Such an element doesn't have an elemental energy signature because space represents void which means you don't have a definite element yet you do. It is a confusing element that you have to discover yourself because it's so rare you are the only one who is known to have it currently. This is big news". The professor kept on rumbling about the space domain for a good hour before he was able to compose himself all the while the boy was looking at a blue screen that appeared in front of him as soon as he touched the crystal and wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings as students were gossiping everywhere.
