Chapter 9

"Fang Fang, you're so beautiful!" I said excitedly. Just as I was about to remove the last of Fang Fang's clothes, I heard someone yelling.

"B*tch, where are you? Do you want me to die of thirst? I want water, I want water!"

His voice was like a thunderbolt. I was scared out of my wits. Fang Fang immediately pulled down her dress and quickly walked into the room.

"I was just taking a shower. I'll get you some water right away."

"Hurry up, I'm dying of thirst!"

"Oh, oh!"

"S*ck me off. I need to release my load!"

I clenched my fists tightly as I heard their conversation. I did not care if my cousin was drunk and crazy, but I could not stand him calling Fang Fang a "b*tch." I would have beat up my cousin if I was not trying to stay out of their family affairs.

I returned to my room and lost all interest. I thought that something would happen between me and Fang Fang tonight, but I realized that I had probably lost my chance.

About half an hour later, I heard the sound of Fang Fang vomiting next door. When I thought of how she had to s*ck my cousin off, I got angry. However, she sent me a WeChat message soon after.

"Xiaonan, I'm sorry about earlier. I wasn't expecting your cousin to wake up."

"Fang Fang, how can he treat you like that? How can he insult you and make you do things that you don't want to do?" I was furious.

"Your cousin saved my father's life. If your cousin hadn't lent us two million yuan, my father would've been beaten to death by the debt collectors," Fang Fang explained.

"Unfortunately, I don't have two million. Sigh!" I felt very sorry for her.

"Xiaonan, your cousin is already asleep. Do you still feel uncomfortable? If you do, can I help give you a bath?" Fang Fang continued.

"You should rest early. We're not in a hurry. It won't be too late for us to do it at a more convenient time," I responded.

That's right. What if my cousin woke up from another nightmare? It was not safe now. We could wait for two more days.

Fang Fang agreed after she heard what I said. She said goodnight to me on WeChat and finally fell asleep. As for me, I thought about how I could be alone with her. I recalled the scene in the bathroom earlier and comforted myself.

The next morning, Fang Fang prepared a sumptuous breakfast. She woke my cousin up for breakfast, and I saw him sit at the dining table.

"Xiaonan, I'll have to trouble you and stay at your house for the next two days. We should drink more during my wedding." My cousin grinned when he saw me and gestured for me to sit beside him.

"Jiahao, I'm afraid Yanzi won't be able to attend your wedding this time. Her employer isn't giving her the day off on National Day, so she'll still be abroad. She probably won't be back until Christmas."

I quickly told my cousin that my wife would not make it for his wedding.

"What? Yanzi's that busy?" My cousin frowned.

"Yeah, I'm really sorry." I smiled awkwardly.

"It's fine. You just have to be there. Oh right, come over a day in advance to help." My cousin nodded in understanding and changed the subject.

"No problem," I replied with a smile and looked up at Fang Fang.

"Let's eat first. We'll go to the airport later." My cousin quickly picked up his chopsticks.

At this moment, Fang Fang and I exchanged glances. It felt like my words were stuck in my throat, but I had to say them out loud. I quickly looked at my cousin and took a deep breath.

"What's wrong, Xiaonan? Do you have something else to do?" my cousin asked as he noticed that I seemed to have something on my mind.

"Jiahao, do you still remember how much you drank and insulted Fang Fang last night?" I stared at my cousin and clearly questioned him.

"W-What? Did that happen? I don't remember. I black out easily when I drink." My cousin kept looking at me and Fang Fang as he explained in a hurry.

"You and Fang Fang are about to get married. Of course, I hope that the two of you can get along." I smiled and patted my cousin on the shoulder.

"Fang Fang, did I really insult you last night? I drank too much. Please don't take it to heart. I'm marrying you because I really love you. Otherwise, why would I marry you?" my cousin said seriously. He was obviously apologizing to her.

"I don't blame you." Fang Fang was as understanding as ever, but I knew that she was hurt.

After breakfast, I drove my cousin and Fang Fang to the airport. After they left my sight, I took a deep breath. I just gave my cousin a reminder and hoped that he would treat Fang Fang better.

Not long after, Fang Fang sent me a WeChat message. She thanked me for speaking up for her. My cousin realized that he would sometimes act like a jerk, and he told her that he wanted to live a good life with her.

My cousin probably felt a little guilty because someone stood him up in Shanghai. However, when I returned home and looked at the empty house, I felt a little melancholic.

There were still a few more days until National Day. After the weekend, I would have to go to work. Despite that, all I could think of was Fang Fang. How could I have the energy to go to work? I told her to let me know after she got home safely, and she agreed.

At about 3:00 pm, Fang Fang told me that she was safe and that she had arrived home. She even sent me her location.

It surprised me because it was not my cousin's home. However, I later discovered that she and my cousin had parted ways because newlyweds were not allowed to meet a few days before their wedding.

"I miss you," I quickly replied on WeChat.

"I miss you too. It's just that you're in Shanghai and I'm in Changsha. We're so far from each other," Fang Fang said.

"Yeah, if only I could be with you now." I sighed.

"Xiaonan, how long has it been since you last did it?" Fang Fang suddenly changed the subject.

Hearing this, I started to do some calculations. I was surprised to find that I had not had s*x with my wife since Chinese New Year. My wife was in Shanghai on Labor Day, but she had her period at that time.

When I told Fang Fang about this, she chuckled and said, "No wonder you've been holding it in. You have to treat me well when we meet again."

Fang Fang's words delighted me. I felt like asking my superiors if I could use some of my annual leave to add to the National Day holiday.

"What would you do if I suddenly appeared in front of you?" The more I thought about it, the more excited I became. I quickly asked Fang Fang about it on WeChat.

"When you come over, I'll wear a sexy miniskirt and do whatever you want," Fang Fang replied and sent me a flying kiss emoji.

"Really?" I snickered.

"Of course, but I'll have my period in a few days," Fang Fang continued to reply.

What the hell? She was clearly provoking me. This made my entire body heat up. I quickly asked her to take a selfie in some sexy lingerie, but she wanted me to go over and see it personally.
