I was unable to respond to Sister Gao's words immediately. I could see that Mr. Yu, Lan Xinmei, and the others were also taken aback. Mr. Yu quickly responded. "Alright, alright. We'll make sure to give you a satisfactory answer in the next two days."

"Mr. Lin, you're quite impressive. Send me the quote," Miss Gao nodded slightly and looked at me.

"Sure thing, Miss Gao," I immediately snapped back to attention and replied.

"Miss Gao, Mr. Lin did some thorough market survey even without finalizing the endorsement," Lan Xinmei smiled. Miss Gao and Miss Liu Yan left the private room.

Once they were gone, all eyes were on me. I smiled and sat back down.

"Mr. Lin," Mr. Yu looked at me with urgency.

"What's up, Mr. Yu?" I asked.

"If I heard correctly, Miss Gao wanted to get the quote from you," Mr. Yu said quickly.

"Yes, I heard that too," Lan Xinmei chimed in.

While facing their expectant gazes, I picked up my chopsticks. I took a bite of food and said, "So?"

"So, Mr. Lin, do you need to follow up on Miss Liu Yan's endorsement? Our Public Relations Department and Miss Lan's Advertising Department will naturally have your back," Mr. Yu promptly said.

I furrowed my eyebrows. I knew that taking the lead could be advantageous if it worked out. However, if it didn't, I'd end up taking the blame.

"Mr. Yu, Miss Lan, let me be clear. I need to say this upfront," I quickly said.

"Go ahead, Mr. Lin," Mr. Yu looked at me, and Lan Xinmei nodded in agreement.

"Originally, we had no chance of getting Miss Liu Yan's endorsement tonight, but the situation has improved, giving us a temporary opportunity. Moreover, they mentioned that if the quotes are similar, they will prioritize us," I explained slowly.

There were many things I needed to clarify. I didn't want to be the scapegoat if things didn't go well.

"Exactly! It was completely impossible before, but thanks to your efforts tonight, we have a chance now," Mr. Yu nodded firmly as Lan Xinmei agreed.

"That's why, in the next two days, we not only need to figure out the other company's offer, but we also have to carefully come up with a reasonable price," I continued.

"Of course, I understand," Mr. Yu responded.

"I'm not familiar with market rates. I'm not part of your Public Relations or Advertising Department, so I have no idea what quote you gave Miss Gao earlier or how much we can afford," I said with a shrug.

Mr. Yu pondered upon hearing my words. "Mr. Lin, do as you see fit. I can send you a copy of the offer we made earlier. Our Public Relations Department is at your disposal."

"That's right, Mr. Lin. Sister Gao and Miss Liu Yan seem to have a good impression of you. It's the best outcome if you take charge," Lan Xinmei added.

"I hope both of you can explain tonight's situation to Mr. Wang. He's not going to let someone from marketing head this for no reason," I thought for a moment and continued.

Regardless of the situation, I needed to approach Miss Gao and Miss Liu Yan confidently. Otherwise, there would be no point in trying.

"Alright, I'll call Mr. Wang right away!" Mr. Yu said while grabbing his phone and leaving the private room. Lan Xinmei closely followed him.

As the two department managers left, the ladies from the Public Relations Department who had looked down on me earlier now smiled awkwardly. Their eyes sparkled as they took out their personal business cards. They were eager to get to know me.

After Mr. Yu and Lan Xinmei left, I resumed eating.

Honestly, I was hungry. Halfway through the meal, the two department heads returned with smiles. At that moment, my phone rang.

I casually checked my phone and saw Mr. Wang's number. I immediately perked up. I stepped out of the private room to answer the call.

"Mr. Wang," I answered quickly.

"Hahaha, Lin, I heard about tonight's events. Thanks to you, we just managed to redeem Miss Liu Yan's endorsement," Mr. Wang laughed heartily over the phone to praise me.

"Mr. Wang, it's my duty. However, competing with Ya Die was no easy task," I quickly replied.

"Secure Liu Yan's endorsement, and I'll definitely reward you," Mr. Wang acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and painted a bright future for me.

Mr. Wang and Sun Dan were very close. The position of Sales Manager should have been mine, but Sun Dan wrapped her legs around him and got above me. Now, Mr. Wang was establishing the position of Sales Director for the East China region. To say I was not interested would be a lie.

"Mr. Wang, I'll do my best," I smiled.

"Lin, I know the past two years haven't been easy for you in the Sales Department. Miss Sun may be demanding, but once you secure Miss Liu Yan's endorsement, I'll appoint you as the Sales Department Manager. What do you think?" Mr. Wang proposed swiftly.

"Sales Manager? Then what about her?" I furrowed my brow.

"The Sales Manager position should have been mine two years ago, but Sun Dan got ahead of me. I'm just getting my rightful position. How is that a reward?" I still felt a bit unconvinced.

"I'll make other arrangements for Miss Sun," Mr. Wang replied quickly.

"Mr. Wang, if Miss Liu Yan endorses our company's brand, her influence will undoubtedly increase significantly. We're one level below Ya Die Company. If Ya Die snatches Miss Liu Yan's endorsement, they will completely overshadow our sales," I pondered and spoke quickly.

"Hmm? Are you suggesting you want the Director position?" Mr. Wang seemed a bit displeased.

"I've been in the company's Sales Department for many years. In terms of qualifications, no one in the department can compare to me. You must know that most of our company's old customers mostly came from my previous efforts," I continued.

If I had a chance, I wouldn't let it slip away. I no longer wanted to be suppressed by Sun Dan.

"It seems you have many grievances against Miss Sun," Mr. Wang chuckled.

"I wouldn't dare say so," I quickly replied.

"True, you were supposed to be the Sales Manager years ago. I know you've been at the forefront these past few years. I know you played a significant role in Hang Cheng's deal as well. Mr. Qu and I have spoken about you, and we have a positive impression," Mr. Wang continued.

When he mentioned "Mr. Qu," I immediately thought of Qu Na from Hangzhou. I didn't expect Qu Na to put in a good word for me with Mr. Wang.
