Chloe woke up , she stretched her arms and yawned before swinging her legs of bed ...

she put on her slippers and walked downstairs still in her PJ'S to see how levi was holding up, she wanted to check up on him and also ask him alot of questions

her mind was full with questions , like ;

where did you go? , why did you get beaten up ? , did you get into a fight ? , what did you do? ,why did you refuse to go to an hospital? , what did you mean by you'll die if you go to the hospital? , are you in some kind of trouble ? , how do you know i wanted to study medicine ? , where is my phone ? as so on and he was going to answer every single one of her questions whether he likes it or not .

she walked to the living room and saw him sitting on the couch in his usual number 4 position with his posture relaxed and sipping his wine calmly .

she pursed her lips and walked towards him "good morning" she greeted with a neutral look and levi faced her sternly "it's 6:30 in the evening" he chuckled almost sardonically and Chloe's eyes widened to a fraction.

" s-six thirty , how long did i sleep " she asked stupefied , how can she sleep for the whole day . Levi shook his head " you slept pretty late last night" he replied in his gruff voice .

"and who's fault do you think it is " she scoffed. he was acting all thankful last night and now he's acting like nothing happened when his body was plastered all over .

she sat on the sofa next to his and asked "about last night" she tried to bring up the topic as fast as she can.

"listen , I Know you have a lot of questions, but i thought i should let you know that i'm not answering any of it so it'd be best if you keep it to yourself" he bluntly said in a stern voice and Chloe put on an ' are - you - kidding - me ' face.

' this guy is such an asshole, after helping him he can't even answer my questions, does he think i'm stupid and would pretend like nothing happened' her lips twitched as she glared at him.

"how did you know I wanted to study medicine" she growled and he twirled the wine inside his stemware ignoring her he brought it to his lips and sipped a little.

Levi didn't want to answer her questions , he would only confuse her by making up lies and if she's smart enough she'd figure he's suspicious. she's so innocent and probably thinks he's a good guy for letting her stay with him . she doesn't know anything , like she's not living in this cruel world . he's just a stranger to her but she actually feels free to live with him , does she trust a stranger that much , such a fool ..... if only she knew he was part of a Mafia family , the son of the boss in-fact .

he took out the phone he bought earlier , he couldn't keep using the one he threw last night when he lost his temper .

Chloe glared at him , " he's ignoring me " she mumbled to herself ,her lips formed a bitter smile , she was completely hacked off , she saw him bringing out his phone from his pocket and she remembered her phone , that's right the idiot has my phone .

" where's my phone ?" she scrowled at him and levi who was about to drink his wine again stopped as realization hit him.

'F*ck ! ' he cussed multiple of times in his head , it must have fallen off while he was in a fight last night at the warehouse they had taken him to . if his dad finds it before him Chloe might be in big trouble , he messed up big time.

"damn it " he cussed again as he quickly grabbed his coat on the arm of the couch and stormed out of his house , Chloe was taken aback by his sudden actions " where are you going to, you're still injured ?" she yelled but he had gone .

Levi got to his car and dialed a number on his phone, putting the phone beside his ear with one hand in his pocket , someone answered.

"get here " he commanded

" yes boss" he replied and levi hung up and push the car door open ,then he zoomed off to the ware house he had to find that phone.

He got to the abandoned warehouse and stepped in , he noticed the people he had killed last night we're still lying cold on the floor bathing in their own blood.

he heaved a sigh of relief , that was a sign that his father had not found it yet since his men were still here , if his father found out he wouldn't leave them but bury them.

Standing there for a while waiting for his right hand man and deeply in thought of what he would do if he didn't find that phone he finally heard footsteps behind him . he didn't turn around and just remained in his relaxed posture and kept his neutral look .

Cardo walked to his side "Mr. Shaw " he politely greeted as he noticed the amount of dead bodies lying on the floor .

"don't call me that " he bluntly demanded " you're late " levi kept his stern look but cardo could still hear the hint of displease in his voice , he kept his eyes down and dared not to look up , levi had told them not to call him by his father's name , he loathed his father and therefore hated Everything related to him , he preferred to be called by his mother's name.

"my apologies sir "

"where are the others " levi shifted his sharp gaze to cardo

" they're outside sir " he replied still with his head down.

" acquaint me with what's going on " levi demanded .

Cardo could feel beads of sweat form on his face , it been long levi had been this cold , he doesn't even call anymore and he's been lazy for a while . ' what's going on ' he asked himself.

"your father's men found a phone last night at this warehouse , and he claims he found your Achilles heel.... I think you should come home sir , your father is filled with ra-"

" clean this up " levi cut him off as he clenched his jaw . his father found it , he didn't clean this place up cause he knew he'd be back for it FUCK

and what?, his father thinks Chloe is his Achilles heel' his lips twitched with the thought of it , Chloe was just a stranger to him and nothing more . Hannah was the one he truly loves and she left him two years ago, he doesn't have an Achilles heel.

As levi walked out of the warehouse , cardo stared at the bloodshed his boss caused and groaned in frustration .

' he makes the mess and i clean it ' he whined in his thoughts.

Levi kept thinking of what to do , his father had warned him not to waste his valuable and limited time on females

' love is a distraction ' his father always said and he probably thinks Chloe is another distraction.

' this is bad ' he thought to himself as he kept his relaxed posture and poker face .

his father had told him to come home and take over as the boss since he was the only child and his father was getting old but levi didn't care . he was still young and wanted to enjoy being careless , he didn't want to waste it and become a Mafia boss then get killed or jailed .

Everyone already knew he was going to become the boss sooner than later but levi just didn't want to yet , and his father would kill anybody who tries to distract him.

His father would give up on finding him and focus on finding Chloe instead .

he heaved a deep sigh and a small frown appeared on his lips . he had to find a solution Soon or Chloe would end up dead.

Meanwhile.....

Chloe was munching on some of the chocolates her and hina bought for dinner when she heard the door bell ring .

her gaze shifted to the door . "hmm? , levi never does that" she mumbled to herself as she walked to the door and locked it .

looking through the peephole on the door .... she saw Lia's face .

she curled her lips and rolled her eyes 'what again ' she whined in her thoughts as she unlocked the door and opened it and was greeted by lia's hard glare .

"well good evening to you too " she scrowled sarcastically and lia's face darkened at the sight of her wearing pj's in levi's house .she almost turned green with envy.

"where's levi ?" lia asked frowning as she crossed her arms , Chloe was not a fan of her attitude at all ,she was already pissed off.

"he's not home , you can sit outside the house and wait for him" Chloe mocked and lia scoffed .

" i'm coming in "lia growled and Chloe stepped out of the house and closed the door behind her .

"actually levi always tells me to lock the door meaning he doesn't want anyone visiting especially you...so you can stay outside" chloe smiled almost sardonically.

" you think you're better than me cause you're living with him" Lia was pissed off, she thought she could handle chloe , but Chloe doesn't seem like a person who gets intimidated by small threats

"yeah i'm better than you , not because I'm living with him but because I don't push myself to guys that don't want me "chloe kept her neutral face , she wasn't affected by the glares lia was throwing at her. she wasn't done with lia yet , she remembered lia insulted her and called her a thing yesterday , just because she didn't defend herself doesn't mean she can't.

Lia's lips twitched " I'm just trying to get back with my boyfriend that you stole , you lowlife slut " lia yelled and Chloe was about to hit her when levi stepped in front of her , standing in between them and facing her .

" Chloe " he whispered in a sinous voice and Chloe looked up to face him because of his towering height . she looked to his side and glared at lia , like she was making a threat with her eyes.

"put your b**ch on a leash levi " she warned as she opened the door and walked inside and slammed the door enough to make Lia flinch

Lia burst into fake tears and started sobbing .

"l-levi you saw what she wanted to do right , she - "

" you're the one who called her a slut " he cut her off and turned and faced her and lia gasped .

" levi what happened ,did you get injured" she reached out to touch him but he slapped her hand away and walked inside and locked the door behind him leaving lia standing there in disbelief.
