Chloe got annoyed , furious , enraged . no word could describe how angry she was . just a stupid kiss , just a stupid kiss , she didn't want to think about it but that stupid kiss was her very first one .

she was homeschooled all her life , no friends , no boyfriend , no best friend , she had been alone for the past nineteen years . People would think ' oh she's rich she probably has dozens of friends but that was not true at all .

she just had the privilege to get out of her house last year when she turned eighteen , her father didn't like her but he was protective.

" that stupid kiss almost got me raped last night " she shouted.

" you're the foolish one who decided to live with a stranger because she's homeless " levi stated bluntly.

" you... i-i..... e-excuse me ? " she stuttered, saddened by his words , levi put one hand in his pocket and the other held his laptop .

" you're foolish chloe , to think living with a stranger is the solution to your homelessness , and even if you wanted get a job , they won't hire you , because you're completely useless and know nothing , maybe that's why you got abandoned and also duped , because you don't use your logic and don't think before you act " he vexed and blurted but immediately wish he didn't say it and wish he could take it back. chloe glared at him with moist eyes , speechless.

she couldn't utter a single word until he finished. she scoffed softly and a tear fell from her eye. " jerk" she mumbled but levi heard , he clenched his fist in his pockets and saw her wipe away the tear.

he was supposed to be apologising to her but here he was making her cry Again!

" no chlo-" he tried to grab her wrist as she walked away from him , but she cut him off " go to hell levi " she uttered before storming off to her room and slamming the door with a loud bang , leaving levi standing there with bitter remorse . he heaved a sigh of sadness and walked to his room.

He waited for hours but chloe didn't come out of her room. ' isn't she hungry? ' he questioned himself , he knew it was her first kiss , it was so obvious , she was terrible at kissing . he knew he shouldn't have said those words , he was too blunt.

he walked to her room , he wanted to knock but he didn't and just opened it .

Chloe glanced at him then she looked away. he walked closer to her bed but chloe halted him. " don't come any closer" she ordered and he just stared at her .

" really chloe , are we really doing this right now?" his voice had a hint of remorse.

"we're not doing anything , I'm just telling you not to come closer to me "she replied.

" don't forget this is my house and you don't have the right to order me around " he raised a brow while chloe rolled her eyes. he moved closer and sat at the edge of her bed , chloe moved to the other edge creating a great distance between them.

"Chloe" he was pissed off , why was she acting like a child. "we're not doing this " he uttered before walking to the other edge then caught her wrist before she could move.

she gasped in pain because levi was gripping the wrist he hurt.

levi noticed her reaction and quickly loosened his grip on her wrist. She quickly massaged her wrist and levi gave a confused look. did she get hurt?.

"what's that?" he asked but chloe denied "it's nothing , i know you're here to apologise so save it , worthless people don't deserve it "she uttered and levi sighed.

" just let me see"he demanded and grabbed her hand to view her wrist , it was a bruise , Levi squeezed his brow and faced her . " you got hurt ?" he asked and Chloe looked away and yanked her hand away from his.

"it's none of your business" she muttered making him more pissed .

" did i do this? " he asked , he was getting pissed at himself he not only made her cry or put her in danger with his father , he also bruised her . ' bastard ' he cussed himself.

he grabbed her by her hand cautious not to touch her wrist then he seated her on the other side of the bed and slowly walked to the bedside table. chloe watched him and the images of last night flashed across her mind , she saw him pull the drawer open and took out a first aid kit.

she somehow felt sorry for him , maybe he had a problem.

she looked at her wrist again and curled her lips .

levi suddenly pulled her arm gently and applied an ointment on it. she faced him and saw him focusing on her wrist , massaging both of her wrists with his hands in unison.

"I'm sorry" he suddenly muttered , being gentle with his massage.

" i didn't mean those words " he added

" you didn't mean which words ? " she asked knowing exactly what he was talking about but she still wanted him to say it." the fact that I'm worthless or - "

"i never said you were worthless " levi cut her off and faced her.

" then what did you say ... ah that i'm useless.... completely use-"

" i'm sorry okay , i never meant to say it , i'm the useless one for calling you useless" he blurted and Chloe just stared at him then swallowed. " i didn't mean does words " he said again.

"And?" she was very blunt , he hurt her feelings too .

" and you're neither useless nor worthless " he admitted

" And? " chloe was now tearing up.

" i didn't mean to force myself on you , i was drunk and out of my mind " he was straight forward .

" And? "

" I'm sorry for bruising you " he kept rubbing her wrist .

" and ? "

" I'm sorry for calling your first kiss stupid" he said and Chloe was taken aback by his sudden words . her face turned red and levi plastered a smirk on his face . " what you thought i didn't know , you're terrible at kissing by the way " he added causing chloe to blush even more .

he suddenly spotted his bite marks on her neck and curled his lips " i bit you " he uttered then faced her . Chloe didn't reply so he got closer and tucked her hair behind her ear then grabbed the ointment and applied it.

'he's too close ' chloe thought .

" am i forgiven " she suddenly felt his breath on her ear which made her feel hot .

he turned his head sideways to face her and his lips almost touched her cheek which made her heart skip a beat.

" hmm ?" he asked again

"hmm?" she asked back and he chuckled " i asked if i was forgiven " his voice was pleasing to her ears again , that's the voice she wanted to hear. Guess he's not such a jerk afterall.

"you're at fault but not entirely.... i mean.... are you okay? , have you considered going to see a - "

" i rather not talk about it ..... hey listen .... can we just call what happened between us last night null and void " he was asking but chloe felt like he was pleading her to forget about it.
