Chloe's smile died instantly , what was he saying ... did he pay for her? no! why would he do that ? she was a total stranger to him . she shook her head
".... and why would you do that ... i'm just a stranger to you.. you can't do something that nice for someone you don't know right ? you said it yourself that i was an acquaintance" she squinted her eyes and folded her arms . Levi's muscles worked , a stranger huh? was she still a stranger he thought to himself before standing up
"you can't go to school when you're all bruised up ... you can't even walk "he stated and a big frown formed on her face . how was she going to go to college looking like she got hit by a truck
"that's fine you can always resume the following week " he gave her hope that her wounds would still heal seeing her frown . she smiled again .. right? they would still heal right nothing to worry about!
"but i have to find a way to call my father " she curled her lips and Levi raised an eyebrow
" don't you have a piece of paper or jotter you wrote his number in" he asked then something rang a bell in Chloe's head . his business card . it Should be in her bag somewhere
she didn't want to throw it away so she kept it somewhere in her suitcase "Right!" her eyes flew wide at her realization , she tried to get up but she only ended up whimpering ... she forgot she couldn't walk , plus the IV drip that was being taped at the back of her hand
"stop moving" levi nagged
"i-i just want to check something in my bag " she shuddered and he nodded
" tell me" he demanded and she pointed at it
" i think his business card should be somewhere in my suitcases "she said and he walked towards it before searching thoroughly . he saw a lot of make-up products .. he didn't know smith liked wearing make up , she also had a lot of accessories and bags from luxurious brands . she had all these but never used them . shouldn't she sell these and make the money she needed so badly .
it's not in here smith" he informed after searching it
" huh! where did i put it !" she scratched her forehead " oh check the white Prada bag" she beamed
"... found it " he uttered in a calm tone and she raised her head
"you did!!" she exclaimed " give it!" she commanded and he raised a brow
" where are your manners smith ! you're not allowed to order me around " he flicked her forehead and she flinched
" I'm sorry levi please give it " she still sounded rude to levi but he gave it to her anyways . why was she so Happy to call someone who abandoned her . Chloe quickly dialed his number and put her phone beside her ear
"he's not answering Levi " she muttered calling him again and levi heaved a sigh .
" he's probably busy smith give it time " he advised
" maybe .. i guess" she replied in disappointed then heaved a sigh
" aren't you hungry" he asked . he was expecting her to smile again but she shook her head
"I'm not " her words amazed levi so much ... she was not hungry ! but she was always hungry. she had not eaten anything since yesterday morning . she barely touched her food and now she wasn't hungry . he sat on the edge of her bed again
"are you okay , what do you mean you're not hungry " he spoke calmly ... did she have a fever . that would worsen matters because he would have to call the doctor again
"i feel weird inside .. I'm not hungry"
"are you sure ... maybe you have a fever "he placed his palm on her forehead then felt his own then he heaved a sigh of relief . thank God !
"you don't" he faced her
"maybe it's because i haven't taken a shower yet... i should probably take a shower " she assured
".... but you can't even stand and you want to take a shower? " his voice was sullen.
" could you perhaps call Simi or any of your girl-friends " she mentioned simi because she was the nicest amongst them all
"why ? is it something i can't do " levi asked with a stern look and she stiffened . why did he say that , why would he say that?. her face flushed red instantly
"leviiii?" she nagged and he chuckled
"what? is it something i can't do " he asked again... she rubbed her face slightly hoping that would erase how red her face was .. why was he teasing her
" yes Levi it's definitely something you can't do " she finally answered curling her goes under the blanket
" but there's nothing i haven't seen though " he murmured to himself but she heard vividly . what was he talking about
"Nothing nevermind i'll go call the girls" he quickly walked out of the room before she could say anything
It was morning and Simi was coming back from her morning jog . she was hungry and was sure hina would be hungry too.... then she spotted lia coming out of a store. her lips twitched , she had not gotten her revenge yet.
Lia spotted her too and faked a smile , simi also plastered a fake smile and walked towards her
"it's so nice to see you Simi .. when did you come back from Nig-" a hard slap hit a face before she could even finish her sentence
"fucking Christ.... Simi!!!" Lia rubbed a cheek
" your skin is looking so flawless after sleeping with my boyfriend" her voice was calm but she mad .... she was just trying to keep her cool in the presence of this slut.
" excuse me!" lia glared before she processed what simi said "Simi!" she tried to speak again but another slap hit her face
"jeez! simi, it's not my fault he cheated . i thought you were smarter than this simi .. hitting me because of a guy . it's pretty rude of you to just walk up to me and hit me in the face" she blabbered and simi scoffed

"you should have taken care of your boyfriend you idiot ... don't come here spitting out nonsense. can't i sleep with him just because he's your boyfriend , don't you fuck around with Levi too .. you know i kinda-" a loud cry broke out of lia's lips ... they were both forgetting people were around . Simi pulled her hair harshly and slapped her continuously ... she completely lost it when she accused her of doing shit with levi . how dare she?!
lia fell to the ground and groaned , simi sat on her abdomen and didn't stop hitting her , she wasn't slapping but hitting her in anyway she could without uttering a single word ... she just kept venting her anger out
idiot?!, spitting nonsense , sleep with her boyfriend like it's normal, fuck around with levi? those words kept singing in her head . she wanted to kill lia right now . Everyone around wanted to stop her but they were afraid simi had gone mad.
she was about to hit lia again but someone grabbed her hand and pulled her away from lia , simi didn't care who it was and kept struggling . he carried her out of there forcefully "ASHAWO!! { translation: prostitute }.... you're a fucking bitch Harrington" she screamed and Jason kept his grip on her waist firm as he walked away from there pulling her with him
"let me go jay" she snapped at him . he ignored and didn't reply her until they got infront of her building
" do you really have to embarrass yourself like that bel" he sounded pissed .
" i did not embarrass myself ooo " she curled her lips , she was really fustrated
" English simi! " he nagged
" isn't that English " she answered and he sighed " you didn't say you were coming " she continued folding her arms
" i wanted it to be a surprise but then i caught you trying to kill Levi's girlfriend" he replied
"Levi must not hear you had calling her his girlfriend?" she shook her head
" wait , what Happened between them i heard levi and correct Elna that she was now his ex " jay blurted and she rolled her eyes
" you're way behind Jason , i can't explain everything to you "
" I'll ask Hina then" he tried to make her jealous but she only laughed
" good luck with that you know she's not the chit chat type of person especially with you" he curled his lips instantly . that was true. she was right.
" come in" she insisted before opening her door
"how's your boyfriend" he uttered with an ounce of jealousy in his voice.
"he's not my boyfriend" she hissed and Jay squeezed his brows .

"I'll explain later, i'm hungry" she rubbed her stomach before walking into the living room there she spotted hina and Morgan eating pizza
"Morgan! , what are you doing here " she didn't sound pleased nor mad . Morgan stared at Jay beside Simi.
" you guys want pizza we have enough" he smiled while hina was sitting beside him not caring what was going on but then she suddenly turned her head to face simi
"simi I'm hungry , i want jollof rice please" she whined
" hey hina" Jay waved but she ignored and he heaved a sigh .. ofcourse . hina is always Hina. simi ignored all of them and walked to her room , she needed a shower . she locked her door because of the presence of boys .
she heard her phone ringing on her bed and reached for it , she swiped on answer seeing levi's name
" what's up prince?"
"i need you to help me" he didn't sound desperate
"that's really unlike you levi .. what is it?" she asked
"come help Chloe shower" he went straight to the point
" Ehn? " she seemed puzzled and surprised by his words
"i offered to help but she refused"
"i'd be surprised if she didn't , and why does she need help , she's not a toddler"
" she got injured " he scratched his forehead
" oh my gosh is she okay" she sounded worried "how much" she added
"badly" Levi answered and she heaved a sigh
" what Happened? "
" i'll explain later please come over" he replied
" okay see you in an hour or half ... i just need to take a shower first"
" take your time bel " he said before hanging up.
when she was done she got out of her room all dressed up to go to levi's
" simi? where are you going ... i want jollof rice" hina whined and simi ignored
" where is my fucking key? " she muttered and hina groaned
