-Message request-

Sage was sitting in his backyard, looking closely at a flower and trying to replicate it in his sketchbook, when suddenly his phone rang. He was actually suprised to see it was his teacher calling, he submitted his cottage journal ages ago and he thought he was done with that class.

"Hello?" Sage said

"Hello, Sage." His teacher replied.

"Why are you calling me? I thought I was done your school for the rest of the summer."

"About that... you can't move up a grade until you pass the beginner class."

"Okay? That's how all schools work. Did I NOT pass?" Sage was getting a bit nervous now.

"No, you didn't."

His teacher's words filled Sage with anger once again.

"My journal met the criteria, no? I wrote about everything that happened, a flower literally healed me, what's more 'magical plant' than that?" Sage said angrily, struggling to keep his voice calm.

"Yes but you barely handed anything in, nothing you handed in was on time, your journal was less like a journal of magical discoveries and more like a how-to-barely-survive journal and you have no understanding of fairy culture because you refuse to leave your temporary home!!!"

This was the first time Sage's teacher had ever raised her voice at him, and Sage didn't like it one bit.

"You're not my mom, okay? You don't have any right to scold me. You also don't have any right to tell me who I can and can't live with. You put me in serious danger by not checking that the cottages on your list weren't owned by fairy hunters. You are an irresponsible and horrible teacher, and guess what? I'm dropping your class."

And for the final time, Sage hung up on his ex-teacher.

Sage lied down on the grass, one question on his mind.

What now?

Would he ever even see another fairy again?

Until the next fairy ball, I guess not.

And even then, every time he saw a fairy they would say hi and then disappear from his life forever.

His phone buzzed in his pocket again, he pulled it out and saw he had a message request, odd.

From 'Aqua_waterfairy'...

Ohhhhh, so by 'I know we'll meet again' they really meant 'I somehow already have your instagram account and will be messaging you as soon as you leave.'

Sage accepted the message request and read Aqua's message.

Aqua_waterfairy: 'Hey, Sage. I'm moving to the Mushroom Domain and I need a place to stay for a while, would it be fine to live with you for a bit?'

Sage rolled his eyes and replied back

Sage<3: 'How did you even get my instagram?'

Aqua_waterfairy: 'Magic. Fairy magic.'

Sage smiled and then replied.

Sage<3: 'Well, since you're an all-knowing fairy you should also know I live with humans, they're not gonna take too kindly to a fairy living with them.'

Aqua is typing...

Aqua_waterfairy: 'They don't have to know.'

Sage<3: 'So, you want me to allow you to stay in my house for free, with my human parents against their will? What am I getting out of this again?'

Sage did want to see Aqua again but he would be risking getting caught or captured.

He looked down at Aqua's message

Aqua_waterfairy: 'Well I can teach you more than Brooklyn can, since I remember everything from my past life I've already been through years of fairy school, I can teach you myself.'

Sage<3: 'And you don't think that I'm breathtakingly amazing at magic already?'

Aqua_waterfairy: 'No, I don't'

Sage<3: 'Rude.'

Aqua_waterfairy: 'Will you let me stay at your place or not?'

Sage<3: 'Fine, but your lessons better be worth it.'
