"He is leaving tomorrow as far as my sources have told me," Bran told him in the evening. Ash had stopped by the bar for a drink. All the day he had been teaching the half-breeds the workings of the ship, thankfully some of them knew what they were doing. "If you leave around that, he is bound to see you, he probably has huge scopes that can see up to miles" Bran warned him.
"So he is going then?" Ash asked, surprised the fat man was risking his life himself.
"That I am not sure," Bran said. "You must not underestimate him, he will try his best."
"He would not try to attack us he wants to buy my ship," Ash said.
"I don't think so, if you will come in his way and a thousand gold coins and other treasures, I don't think your ship is worth that much" Bran said and Ash nodded.
"We must leave tonight then, we'll be way past by the morning, he will never catch up," Ash said shaking a little bit. "Did you do what I asked?".
"I ordered the items at once, I am expecting the delivery anytime now; just send Murk and others; it will be here by the time they'll come," Bran answered to Ash's relief, since Knox had depleted the market of most supplies, he had to ask Bran to order from out of town.
"And the other thing?" Ash asked tentatively.
"I found someone on the deck who was eager to betray his employer," Bran said and passed him a small bag "He's been paid already, if you in a tight spot, just light this up in the sky and he'll do his thing" said Bran.
"Good, this is it then, well see you later," Ash said.
"Have a safe journey" They shook hands and Ash left. He had to go and get Raeya and Drax and hope they won't have any problem leaving on such short notice. They had told him the inn they were staying at, it was not a good one, they mustn't have found rooms in any other.
Ash asked the front desk for their room numbers, that was easy, he didn't think any more elves or dragonkin were staying in the town. He was also kind of glad to find that they had separate rooms. He didn't know what their relationship was, not that he thought he would have much chance with Raeya but one could always hope. He knocked on the first door, there were some steps and the door opened and Ash caught his breath. Raeya was standing inside the room, her hair wet, wearing a thin robe that barely did anything to hide the large milky mounds rising up and down. He could make the outlines of her nipples clearly, with a great effort he stopped himself from looking downwards.
"Umm, we are leaving tonight, some stuff came up and I think it would be best if we leave as soon as possible," he said his eyes straying.
Raeya ignored his gaze, she must get that all the time and answered, "Very well, the sooner, the better, give us an hour we'll meet at the dock" She turned, and Ash saw her breasts jiggle with the movement and closed the door.
One hour later, Bran had sent the supplies with Murk and others, and raeya and Drax had shown up hooded to not draw attention. It didn't help much in Drax's case but since it was dark Ash didn't see anyone close to the dock. The anchor was raised, and he took his post behind the helm, and they started their journey.
The half-breeds worked in shifts, Ash who had thought the night would be unpleasant since he hadn't slept, found it rather pleasing. Both Ryla and Reaya had decided to join him on the captain's deck. Drax was sleeping somewhere below, snoring loudly. Staying in such close quarters with the ladies had made his mind imagining things, their attire didn't help at all. Raeya had discarded her robe and was wearing a white silk dress that flowed over her curves and divided in places enticingly. He had heard of the elves dressing lightly and now had seen it. He often caught himself looking at her as she moved around the deck looking at the sea. Both women hadn't talked to each other much, just greetings when introduced, but they would get familiar soon enough Ash thought.
"How long do you think it would take us to reach the edge?" raeya asked coming up to him. Her dress parted in the front and he stared at the never-ending cleavage.
"If the wind stays like this, then about a week," he said. Since it was summer, the winds were swift and clear, the sea horse had been fitted with a new mast and it was sliding elegantly on the waves.
"Are you fine with your quarters?" he asked. He had given the ladies the rooms on the upper levels near his own.
"Yes, although it will take time to sleep on a moving bed," she said and folded her arms and her gigantic tits rose up as she sighed.
He didn't know what made him say it but he found himself answering "If you have any trouble sleeping sometimes the company can help, I'll be glad to help you sleep". he finished and realized what he had said, his breath caught in his lungs. At least Ryla wasn't listening to them. Raeya raised her eyebrows at the remark, she didn't give anything away but as she turned, Ash wondered whether she was actually thinking it over.
