Arlon was a true divine being who ruled over the lesser gods. Although he was a true god, the elder gods tasked him to watch over the lesser gods as a means for them to plan out their secret plan to get rid of him. Arlon was considered to be one of the most powerful gods even among some of the elder gods and he wasn't an elder god yet. In fear of his power, the elder gods sealed him in an abandoned realm which was filled with void eaters( creatures that devour everything). Arlon was killed by the void eaters and his divine soul shattered and scattered through the earth.
