One Stomp to Shake The World!

It clicked.

Every time Frankenstein's blades pierced him, he always said something that boiled his emotions. And on the cusp of releasing that emotion, the blades struck. Turning emotions into physical constructs that he could feel? That only meant one thing.

Long Wei doused his raging emotions like flipping a switch. It felt as if some heavy weight fell off his shoulders. The blades that pierced him faded away. And his body went to work healing the wounds. He stood up and dusted himself. A little bit of Qi was all it took to wipe away all evidence that he had been injured. His clothes stitched themselves together.

"Now that you've had your fun. I think it's about time I had mine," Long Wei said.

"Those were the exact words I told your mother last night. She had a sweet moan too," Frankenstein kept the picture-perfect smile on.

Making Long Wei rage was only half the process. The other half was thanks to a trap he set up way back before he got here. The ponds. He had a neat surprise installed for the poor soul who dared to touch it. And Long Wei wreaked the pond's aura. The game was still in his hands. Frankenstein didn't dare neglect any piece of the puzzle when he came here years back. He understood that battling against someone that was destined to shake existence and non-existence was bound to be troublesome. So he prepared in advance.

"Your little tricks are up in the air. Emotions. You have the ability to manipulate emotions. Emotions would be wrong. Rather, you have the ability to manipulate rage. And use it against me. That's it isn't it," Long Wei kept his cool throughout.

Even though the blasphemy against his mother was enough reason for him to explode with his full burst of power, he understood that he would only help his enemy should he do that again.

As long as he let his emotions dictate his actions, this battle was lost. Having the ability to manipulate emotions without a single energy fluctuation was only something a select few beings could do.

Not even the strongest Immortal as of Date had that ability. He would have long heard of it if that were possible. That only meant one thing. And one thing only, the man before him was a God. A full-blown god realm expert limited to the mortal levels of power by the environment. Anywhere else and he would have called for Elder Cai Immediately.

But in this place?

It was about time added defeating a God Realm expert in his resume. Even if the Expert had his cultivation sealed to the mortal barrier. A God Realm Expert was still a God Realm Expert. The purple sword he formed earlier flied into his hand. He brandished the blade and took a step forward.

A single step.

Yet the mysteries etched into that step were profound. Only those of his bloodline could use that step. It was officially known as the Void Step, but the commoners came to call it the Vanishing Step.

Long Wei's single step held the entire world at its fingertips. It touched upon the trickling traces of the Heavenly Dao's might.

A single step.

A single silent step.

Using his qi, Long Wei's physical presence was erased from existence for a single second. And that single second was enough.

He appeared right above Frankenstein, with his purple blade in hand. He waved the blade outwards. Razor-sharp purple qi shot out the blade, aiming to cleanly cut Frankenstein's head into two neat halves.

The attack was sudden. Even Frankenstein's superior understanding of the Dao did little to prepare him for the strike. Within nanoseconds, a vibrant sword slash filled to the brim with void qi erased the strands of his hair as it made course for his skull. In that moment he knew what fear felt like.

It was only just less than a second.

He slid his head to the left, narrowly dodging the strike that almost split his head in half.

But he wasn't done.

Now his neck was in danger.

But the increased distance from his head down to his neck bought him extra time.

That extra time?

He thanked the Heavenly Dao.

He layered his hand in physical rage that he siphoned off from everyone that found themselves unlucky to be within Mother, the vast system of tunnels and caves. His hand tore through the fabric of space and caught the blast of the sword slash. It was only a hair's breadth away from peeling him in half when he did.

Relief!

It came in waves.

But Frankenstein knew it wasn't the time to be idle.

He pushed against his two feet, sending him in Long Wei's direction, blasting away the feeble hold space had on him.

Long Wei's eyes bulged when he saw that his attack was taken care of in such a casual manner. He thought the battle ended, dropping his guard down a notch. And he paid for that.

A rage-covered fist slammed right at the center of his sternum, pushing right through his armor like it never existed.

The punch flung him higher up in the air. His breathing paused for a second. His body took time to readjust when Frankenstein slammed an elbow right through his face. The counterforce shot him back down.

Frankenstein was far from done, he pushed himself further into the sky and came shuttling downwards, feet pointing down. Like a javelin thrown by a master Spearman, his two pointed feet crashed into Long Wei's stomach and sent him right through the ground.

Long Wei tasted dirt for the first time since he was born. And he didn't like it. At all. The taste of the soil and goo was the only thing that kept his mind tethered to reality. His senses were overloaded with a new sensation. Total pain. It wreaked havoc throughout his body, rampaging everywhere like lightning without a rod to guide it.

The force from Frankenstein's stomp pushed him right through to the core of the trial planet. The attack itself sent a shockwave that swept through the entire planet. Off in the oceans, gigantic waves formed crashing into beaches. And other waves flooded entire forests. A few continents were split in half. The natives knelt down And cried to the heavens asking for forgiveness. But nothing changed.

The other participants were shaken with fear. All of them for felt wisps of a Long Wei's Saint's aura amidst the destruction. Those ignorant moved on after a moment of shivering. Those that understood froze. Those knowledgeable had already reached the Saint Realm, and they understood that heavily damaging the trial grounds was an almost impossible task yet someone was doing it right before your very senses. Who?

Long Wei didn't let Frankenstein continue rag-dolling him like a weakling. He pushed outwards with a blast of his pure void qi. Frankenstein, the one closest to the blast, blasted off into the skies.

Void-Step!

Long Wei summoned Qi from his dantian to his feet. He disappeared and reappeared right above Frankenstein. He slashed down with his sword and Frankenstein reacted quick. He brought his hands against his chest.

Sparks flew when the blade of the sword struck against his forearms. Rage almost spilled over. Long Wei didn't bother with the blade and recalled it back into his Mindscape. Using a bladeless Soul Sword was foolish on his part. He went back into the battle the old-fashioned way.

With claws and scales.

He reached into his blood using his Mindscape and ignited his bloodline. When he did, a massive dragon phantom showed itself to the world for a single second. The dragon was massive. Its face covered the four corners of the sky, and its breath caused tornadoes. Long Wei forced all the power, exuding out the phantom into his arms, and slammed a fist right against Frankenstein's crossed arms.

Crack!

The strength behind his blow tore a hole right through Frankenstein's crossed arms. Mangled pieces of purple flesh fell from the sky. Another fist slammed through Frankenstein's face, puncturing a fist-sized hole in the space between his mouth and nose.

Long Wei finished it by snapping Frankenstein's windpipe and tossing his body into the ground. It slammed right into it, creating a massive crater that spanned kilometers.

The ugly flesh cavern system evaporated from existence through their brief exchange. Long Wei kept his qi on the humans and godbeasts that led the four ugly creatures to where he was. He didn't want them to die just yet. He still had one more theory he wanted to test before he went out to search for Dong Meirong.

He flew down and landed right next to Frankenstein's body. It looked dead as it could be.

He sighed.

A purple hand wrapped around his throat from behind and slammed him face-first into the ground. Blood poured out his nose, followed by a short sharp pulse on the center of his nose. He rolled left, and grab the hand. With his enhanced dragon strength, he tore it right off Frankenstein's shoulder. Blood spewed everywhere like a broken fountain. He didn't waste the figuring out why Frankenstein was still alive and went with the flow.
