To Love And To Hate

Two hours later, Ivy rushed out of her bedroom the moment she heard Selena getting into the house.


"Where the hell have you been?" Ivy asked angrily, startling Selena.


"I don't know what got you so worked up, but you need to watch your tone and language, young lady!" Selena said with displeasure as she dropped on the couch to take off her sandals.


"Is that the explanation and apology I should get for running off the way you did?" Ivy asked, still trying to calm herself.


"Oh! I'm so sorry. There was some sort of accident at one of the branches, and I had to go over to resolve things. I thought it was something I could handle and rush back home, but it was quite chaotic," Selena said with a sigh. 


"And you didn't think you should call or at least send a text? Do you have any idea how many times I called?" Ivy asked, still very upset.
