Work Stuff

"You're doing it again," Ivy, who was seated and having dinner with Selena, observed with a frown as Selena played around with her meal.

"Doing what?" Selena asked as she glanced up from her plate at Ivy.

"You are playing with your food again, and you zoned out in the middle of a conversation. You can't tell me tonight that you don't feel like eating chicken curry stew and potatoes since we both know they are some of your favorites," Ivy said, and Selena sighed.

"Sorry. I just don't have any appetite these days, and I was thinking of work," Selena said easily.

Ivy had noticed that for the past couple of days, since Selena had told her not to talk about Oliver again that, Selena had not been her usual self. She couldn't say it was Oliver since it might also be about the restaurant, but she didn't like what Selena had become.
