To Love And To Hate

As Jake did the dishes with Alex, he contemplated the best way to raise the discussion and ask him to tell him more about what they had been discussing earlier.

"I've been curious about something," Jake said after some time and Alex raised a brow.

"Did you plan on staying here after opening the restaurant here or did you decide to stay here after meeting your wife?" Jake asked, thinking that was the best way to ask his question.

"Why do you ask?" Alex asked in amusement and Jake shrugged.

"Since I got here I've come to realize that if I want things to work out with Haewon, I might have to relocate to Korea. I've lived in the States all my life and this will be tough for me even as a Korean. But you, you're not even Korean, so how did you cope?" Jake asked and Alex smiled.

First Gift
