Ryan’s body was drenched from sweat, front and back. He was not someone with zero talent, but that didn’t mean that he was a master either.
‘Joan would have been able to deal with them better by herself, but she’s resting, and I don’t want to be completely helpless without her. For a trifle as trivial as this, I'm strong enough to deal with it on my own,’ Ryan thought.
Even if Joan hadn’t come with him to the Stonefall Village, Ryan would have found a way to make things work. If there had been no Builder either, Ryan would have still made things work.
That was the type of person Ryan was. He was filled with ambition, and with his memory of another life intact, he could carve out a path for himself.
“Hah. Hah… is that everyone?” Ryan lowered his sword and glanced at the twelve guards, who were in varying states but were all ultimately down on the ground.
Some were completely knocked back flat. Others were trying to sit up, and there were others trying to stand up.
