Joan blushed as she demurely pushed her hair aside, leaning down to sip the drink delicately.

The burst of flavors cast in Joan’s tongue made her emerald green eyes widen and sparkle.

Joan was someone who worked in the palace, and while she did not have the status to really enjoy fancy dishes… she at least had the position to taste them for poison.

Through that, she knew how refined the meals for royalty were, yet in this case scenario, the beauty of the juice tangled and coated her tongue with the sweetest feelings, on par if not better than the exquisite drinks served in the palace.

A faint blush crossed Joan’s cheeks as she pulled away and tried to maintain a facade of professionalism.
