Balor was a very powerful Fomorian, and his eye had the power to destroy anything he gazed at.

Naturally, he had to activate this ability to work.

So when his gaze landed on Ethan’s body, the young man suddenly felt that a crisis was about to befall him.

However, at that moment, something flew past the young man, heading straight to Balor’s only eye.

The Fomorian wasn’t the least bit troubled by this. As soon as he activated his ability, everything and anything he gazed at would be destroyed regardless of what it was.

However, when he gazed at the stone, he realized that his ability wasn’t working on it.

The shock that Balor felt paralyzed him for a brief moment. And that very tiny lapse in judgment had bought enough time for the stone to hit his only eye, making him cry out in pain as he staggered backward.

Balor hatefully pulled out the stone that struck his eye, which was currently bleeding.
