After spending some time with Ethan, Nicole returned to the Eques Manor as if nothing happened.

The two of them shared a promise that would be fulfilled at a later time.

Nicole also wanted to have some closure to her past, which she believed would allow her to move forward.

Once she was back inside her room, she headed straight to the full body mirror and stared straight at the reflection of her face.

“Before I left to see Ethan, you told me you wanted to talk about something important, right?” Nicole asked.

“Yes,” the Nicole in the mirror replied. “It’s a very important matter that concerns you and Ethan.”

Of course, the one who replied was none other than Baradiel. She and Nicole had agreed to use this method to talk to each other face to face.

Although Nicole found it quite amusing, talking to her own reflection, she didn’t mind it one bit.

“I’m all ears,” Nicole said. “What do you want to talk about?”
