Despite fighting against enemies a distance away from Atlantis, Leviathan paid close attention to the city, even looking relieved when Rullion’s attacks failed to penetrate its defenses.

But he knew that the battle had just begun.

More powerful beings were joining the attempt to break through the sky, and that would make defending it several times harder.

The situation was no longer an ordinary invasion.

At this rate, it would be more accurate to call it a full-blown invasion.

Countless monsters of different kinds and sizes descended from the sky. Those who couldn’t swim died not long after they fell, and those who didn't have strong bodies died from the impact alone, crashing into the bodies floating in the water.

The surface of the sea was now littered with corpses, making even the Ocean Races unable to fight properly as they couldn't find time to clear the bodies on the water.
