“Dadada.”

“No, sweetheart. Say Mama.”

“Dadada?”

Ethan couldn’t help but chuckle as he watched Lilian patiently teach their daughter to talk.

She had been repeatedly coaxing her one-year-old daughter to say "Mama," but every attempt was met with an enthusiastic "Dadada" instead.

“Ouch! Why are you pinching me?” Ethan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when Lilian vented her frustration on him.

“It’s because you look annoying!” Lilian pouted.

Ethan shook his head helplessly, then dropped onto the carpet, stretching out beside his cute daughter, Thalia.

“Say Dada,” Ethan said softly.

“Mamama.”

“…”

“… Pfft!”

Lilian giggled, amused by the speechless reaction on her husband’s face after he heard their daughter’s reply.

“No, Thalia, say Dada.”

“Mamama?”

Ethan and Lilian shared a look before shifting their attention back to the little girl, who beamed up at them with a wide, innocent smile.
