What I Could've Become

'What… do you want?' Vult's anger was simmering down slightly, it was clear that Adam was just speaking bullshit to appear holy.

After all, this man only appeared after Celestine was put in harm's way. So, he should be someone from the church, which would explain his high and mighty way of speaking.

'I don't want anything, but a man has to do his job after all.' Adam wouldn't want to get involved with rapists and the like, but there was no way around it for now.

'I see. So, this a job. How much did she pay you? I'll give ten… No, a Hundred times the amount. Also for how long will you continue to do that bitch's bidding? You can have the high elf as your pleasure slave if you accept my deal. Not only that, you can have any woman from across the land, just point a finger—even if she is from the Seven Shields Alliance—and I'll arrange it for you. What do you say?'

That is why Vult tried his most trusted card, the one that had gained him many followers to support his cause. In the end, men were all simple creatures and he was no different. Give them money and beautiful women they can fuck, and then watch them be ready to burn the world if needed. But he was barking up the wrong tree.

'Yes, you are the perfect example of Sin. It isn't God that you are straying away from when you sin, it is your humanity. It gets chipped away slowly with every sin, preparing you for the next big one. And soon you lose all of it, becoming a monster that does not care about anything.' Vult would've rolled his eyes if he could, but Adam was genuinely curious.

'What I don't understand is. How can you do it so easily? Even faced with this situation you are thinking of how to escape rather than why this happened. You are ready to commit more Sins than thinking of what you have done, you are truly a lost cause.' Vult had no idea what to do now. It was simple that his deal was rejected, and to him, Adam felt like a stick in the mud. But that didn't change anything, all he had to do was try harder.

'We only live one life, if we spend it all following some rules set by Gods who we never even met, we don't even know if they are real, so wouldn't that be a waste? What type of life it is if you can't enjoy everything you want to? And if others suffer a bit what is the big deal? Why should we care? It is their fault for being the weaker ones.'

'So, that is how you turned out to be this way?' Adam sighed.

'Yes, that is why if you are interes—?' Vult was about to give a big speech and somehow try to convince Adam again, but he lost his capability to even express his thoughts.

As if suspended in the dark without his ability to use his senses, Vult heard a few parting words that would be the last he would hear for a long time.

"No, you just showed me what I could've become." Adam stared at the now lifeless body of Vult. The ambitious leader of the Sex Empire had met a silent end without anyone's knowledge.

But this was not the end, as soon the entire city erupted. And it was not cheers…

"A-AAAhhh!!!!"

"What is happening??!!!"

"W-Why did they all fall?"

Rather shouts filled with horror were heard from outside, and they rang all over the empire as millions of civilians, nobles, knights, magicians, monsters, and elves alike, collapsed without any sort of warning or pattern. The only notable thing was that most of the corpses belonged to men.

They just fell and didn't move no matter how much people shook them, there was no pulse or breath as their eyes were bulging out of their sockets. It was an instant death that swept over the entire continent like a silent wind, reducing the population of the world down to 20%.

"Adam… is it?" Celestine appeared next to Adam, covered in a pure white dress that reached her ankles and snugly covered her curves. She looked more like a Goddess right now with her blonde hair swaying behind her back, and gem-like green eyes taking in the view in front of her.

"Yes, the judgment has been delivered, and with this, the Continent has faced a blow that it will not be able to recover from. Not unless I try to mend it back up." Adam looked at her with a small smile. His plan had worked out properly, even if he had gone overboard with the way he handled it.

'But now I can justifiably work my way around the issue.' The Black Dog Mercenaries weren't a big enough threat to apply his plan, so he needed to create a problem that was big enough. That is why, he became one. And right now according to the contract, he had to save Eostia, the difference was he had to save it from himself.

"Adam…?" Celestine's eyes widened as Divine energy flooded out of him like a broken dam. If she hadn't stopped her ability to see divinity, she would've gone blind as the golden glow seemed to cover everything in sight.

"It is nothing. I want you to gather the other six shields for me." She nodded at his words and walked away without asking anything more.

'Good thing I can calm down the defense system for now, if the Administrator was not in the embryo stage it probably wouldn't be possible.' The world needed resources to give birth to the Administrator, and the main resource was Divinity. Something that the world channeled through the points they had established.

These points are the Gods that appear across the lands, these beings are then worshiped by living beings. This faith is turned into Divinity which is then gathered by the System to make an Administrator that can use this resource more efficiently.

'The system should be happy to receive such resource as it is needed, because it had lost the normal way to acquire it with the faith in the Gods of Eostia being shaken.' Adam walked towards the balcony and saw the panicked civilians, many of them were crying as they held their dead family members.

Kids, adult men, women, and even the old, all of them had their lives reaped equally. No one knew of their crime, as they were judged for crimes that were yet to be committed. There was no mercy, just a death that led to hell.

"What I turned out to be isn't that great either." Adam's Golden eyes skimmed through the scenes throughout the continent as he awaited Celestine's return.

And after a full hour had elapsed, she came back. The Black Dog Mercenaries had brought all of the members from the Seven Shields that they captured to the Capital. They wanted to parade these women and use them to tempt the common men of the city into supporting them, while also using it as a way to chip away at Celestine's will.

Vult intended to use Celestine the same way after she surrendered, he wanted to have her raped by the humans of the city she wanted to protect. And he can get them to agree to him on the condition of being able to vent their lust on her again.

He had done the same with the women they had captured before. But now everything he had built, was gone as Adam had crushed their army and the people who supported their actions whether that be the past, present, or the future.

Right now Adam stood in front of five women and a little girl, all dressed in identical full-body robes of pure white. The smell of flowers reached his nose as he noticed their damp hair and flushed skin.

"I had them bathe… as the state they were in wasn't proper to appear in front of Adam." Celestine had helped in bathing them with the nuns to get the semen and blood off of them, and then she tended to the physical wounds her fellow women had suffered.

"I'd say they still aren't in any condition to hear me out." Adam sighed noticing their eyes.

They were too deep into the pit of lust. After all, they have been programmed to pleasure men through the rigorous physical and mental torture they were put through. And upon Vult's demands, they were made to like especially strong men. He was planning to use it as a way to encourage men to climb the ranks, so they could have a chance with them after he gave them a taste.

So, in the presence of someone like Adam whose strength far surpassed any mortal limitations, the women were very much creaming themselves.

"L-Let me have your virile seed,"
