45 – The Guardians

"Forgive me." Sylrieth healed Celia's other wounds. Simultaneously, the roots holding Alan's and the female fighter's bodies began to loosen. "If I don't do this, you guys will resist, and I'll have difficulty healing her."

"Thank you very much, Madam Sylrieth. This is amazing." Celia checked the injured parts of her body. There wasn't even a scar in those places.

The forest guardian frowned. "It's just ordinary healing magic that humans can learn. You've never seen anything like it?"

Celia grimaced. "Well…"

But Alan saw no such magic in his skill tree. Maybe it can only be learned elsewhere.

"Forgive us, madam. We suspect too much of you." Alan chimed in. "And I'm sorry for asking this. Do you have the ability to heal people from the side effects of a berserker potion?"

"I'm not an expert healer. My job is to guard this forest." She smiled. "But you guys want to find the leaf of life to make a potion, right? Well, I can show you."
