Celia kept wiping away her tears while looking for Alan among the ruins. "Al… Where are you… If you hear me, please answer me…"

"Al!" Haruna also went looking. "Can you hear me!?"

Brunch let out a small roar to call the young mage.

"This is pointless." Celia knelt down. Her tears were getting heavier. "We've been looking for hours but can't find him. It's my fault… I should have paid attention to him."

Haruna also knelt before Celia, holding both the female fighter's shoulders. "Please, don't blame yourself. I probably would have had the same incident if I were in your position. We don't know what really happened. So, let's focus on finding Al."

Celia wiped away her tears again, took a deep breath, and nodded. Haruna then helped her stand up.

"All of you are very lucky." The little boy who visited the base yesterday appeared out of nowhere in front of them. "You are not trapped in that magic."
