This work is intended to be the middle segment of a trilogy following the exploits of various Heroes For Hire characters, the trilogy is titled: The Gang Wars. this book was preceded by After Midnight, and will be concluded by the third installment: Night Life.

Heroes For Hire: Night Moves

The investigation into the theft of the book from the Met had no become a full-scale investigation of international security. Shang-Chi's involvement in these affairs brought the participation of both the Avengers and the international police agency S.H.I.E.L.D.


Given that Fu Manchu was a very high profile villain, indirectly responsible for the origins of Iron Man, both agencies had a shares interest in stopping him. The Heroes For Hire were quickly absorbed as affiliates of the 2 agencies and expected to continue the case as a high priority.
