A Strange Quest

Vather slowly moved away from the dojo,but instead of moving back home,he headed for the light elements cultivation ground.He only had two weeks before the important secret mission.

He didn't want to become a worthless bum to the group that can be abandoned or worst case used as scape goat on the mission besides such a mission is definitely not an ordinary mission and will definitely be dangerous so he had to make use of this two weeks to improve his strength and honestly he has a lot to do one of which was unlocking another light elements in his core.

He already unlocked Origin tempering from his core and it was an incredibly useful light cultivation technique,but now he felt he could unlock another one so he planned to do that before the mission.

A notification suddenly appeared before Vather's face

Vather stared at the notification as he was genuinely surprised.The system has never given him something like this before,it only gave him quests for killing or defeating beasts and never interfered with his normal life.Asking him to learn more about people is strange.

The Supreme Blood system was the 2nd feature of his Supreme Blood crystal.It was a very proud existence as even when Vather defeated the trio, there was no EXP points giving to him by the system which means it only identifies the strong and reward him if he was able to defeat them.Vather wasn't disappointed with that as the system has the word Supreme in it.It will be strange if he was rewarded fighting opponents who are weaker than him.

But the three robed individuals caught the attention of the system.That shows just how mysterious the origins of the three robed individuals are.

"A new quest it is,one thing is sure,they definitely are not of the military or they won't fare to try kill a student on its ground so they can't be here,but since they've exchanged move with me then I'll definitely meet with them again."

Vather muttered to himself as he threw the thoughts of the quest at the back of his head.He only need to improve his strength then he'll be ready for anything.

Vather arrived before the dome as he checked very well to confirm if it was really the light cultivation grounds before placing his hands on the dome.

His watch beeped as a notification appeared on it

"-10 points has been deducted"

Vather entered into the dome as he was immediately assaulted with a powerful wave of light.Slowly regulating his eyes to the intensity.He could see a powerful beam of light in the distance as the light pierced through the entire place to where Vather was.

A light elementalist would definitely fall in love with the place on first sight.

Vather immediately moved forward to the source of the light itself as the light around this area won't be enough for him.If he wanted a great increase in his comprehension of Origin tempering,then he need all the light he could absorb.A beam of light immediately pierced through the cultivation grounds as Vather moved with speed towards the source of the light.

He arrived before a blue dome of energy blocking his way,as he threw back his arm and slammed it heavily on the dome.It immediately shattered into pieces as Vather immediately step into the barrier.

He felt the light dimensional energy was almost thrice the intensity of the former but he immediately continue zooming towards the next barrier,while this was powerful,it wasn't his limit.

Vather arrived before the next dome but he could feel a slight pressure on him as the light intensity was just too high and a little hot.He arrived before the next dome as he slammed a punch imbued with all his physical strength onto the barrier,but his face changed as he was immediately sent flying back backwards.He immediately slammed both of his legs into the ground as he was sent skidding across the place causing deep cracks but he ignored that as he stared at where the place where he punched.

There were small cracks present on the dome but they were already slowly closing.Vather glitched from where he was standing as he slammed his hands on the the place where he punched before as a hole was blasted in it.But it wouldn't fit him.Vather slammed his legs into the ground,as he dipped his two hands into the hole and pulled to the sides.

He activated light scales as he slammed both legs into the ground while pulling,his hands immediately tore apart the hole as it widened just enough to fit him.He immediately deactivated light scales as he jumped into the hole before it closed up in the next second.

The light intensity was extremely high as he could feel his body grew hot from the intensity.A slight red colour even emerged from his white skin as Vather gave a nod of satisfaction and sat down.This was his limit.

He immediately sat on the floor as he called out his True Astral light phantom.A gigantic phantom of a man of about a thousand metres tall appeared behind Vather.Horrifying golden light was emitted from it making most of its features undiscerning as gigantic rings of light could be seen at its back.The rings suddenly started revolving as all the light dimensional energy present in the area was immediately absorbed into the phantom and sent into Vather's core.

White flames emerged from Vather's skin burning gently as all the light shining on him was immediately absorbed into his body while waves of impurities were immediately washed away from him.Vather felt himself rejuvenated as he felt his thinking speed increase while the world even became more clearer and brighter to him.This was the effect origin tempering had on his soul,he wasn't able to achieve this with Origin tempering before but now that he was in a place where only the light dimensional energy was present,he was able to.

He could feel his soul strengthening once he activated origin tempering.It was like a lock was placed on him but know he could feel them slowly loosening as he felt more free and his body lighter in some way.His hair shone a golden coloured light as they floated in the air defying gravity.Even the red part of his hair where slowly turning to their normal golden colour.

Vather ignored that as he immediately dived into his True Astral light phantom and he could see the familiar diamond core in it.The white light present at the middle of the diamond core,which Vather identified as origin light that gave him the ability of origin tempering while immediately next to the white light was a beautiful golden coloured light that radiate a type of burning destructive feeling as he could almost feel his own consciousness in pain from just examining it.It was almost like placing your balls on fire except this wasn't fire but light.

Before he even start comprehending the light,he knew it will definitely increase the destructiveness of his light attacks by uncountable folds.

"Then this it is." Vather muttered to himself as he concentrated on all the light causing a type of burning feeling on his soul as his face scruched up in pain as the burning feeling only increased the more he concentrated but he had no choice,he'll comprehend this light right now as the more harder it is to comprehend,the more powerful it will be when he finally comprehend it.

A young man whose hair was radiating a beautiful golden light could be seen sitting in an area completely saturated with stinging rays of light that would have fried a normal human In seconds.White beautiful flames could be seen on his skin as a weird phenomenon of the light being absorb into his skin could be seen while dark bodily impurities could be seen below him that were immediately erased into nothing by the stinging rays of light.

This was Vather preparing for the challenges that lay ahead as he felt his strength increasing very second.His concentrated face was scruch in pain and determination as he tried to forcefully comprehend the 2nd light on the core.
